Pam is an intensely rude and hostile enployee. People like her are why so many people resort to online banking. I don't ask that people act sweet. But don't shove things in front of me and expect me to know what you want then make a snipe when I don't do what you need. I have other options for banking. This entire branch has gone to ruin since the upheavals and laying off of veteran employees a few years ago.

Been looking for a new local bank to do my banking and I use the drive thru often for the atm here at Murphy PNC and I needed some change and went inside. Big mistake. The woman CSR at the window refused as I did not have an account. She was so rude, I would never choose to walk in there again. Was treated better next door at the Community Bank. If you hate your job, find a new one.

Firstly, the staff at the Murphy branch are friendly and try to assist--I would give them FIVE STARS. Corporate, however, is another thing. After opening an account, the first major issue was trying to get online banking to work. It appears that the system is fluky and seems to be down a lot--good luck trying to pay bills. Another issue is corporate response (or rather the lack there of); if you are lucky enough to get a live person, good luck in getting your problem resolved. One of corporate's stock answers is that you have to go to the branch office; in other words, they have no clue. Simple normal/routine banking tasks CANNOT be performed locally, but have to be performed at corporate taking an inordinate amount of time (and sometimes never getting completed). I deal with some banks--Truist, Suncoast, First Citizens, etc.)--and have NEVER SEEN such backward procedures and disregard for customer service.

Tried to withdraw a large amount from my checking account over the counter today and got declined for the excuses of not having enough cash for me, to protect from scam,and has to reserve for others. Really?
