I was not contacted for 10 days. My mom passed on Friday and by the following week on Monday she still laid in the mortuary. It was about money. And nobody called me from the funeral home to tell me. My mom had prepaid her arrangements in SC. I had some minor delays with SC but nobody from Cochran called me the whole week prior to say there's a problem with payment. I would have called on my own to find out what the problem was. I had also arranged when Cochran picked my mom's body up to pay the difference between my mom's prepay and what Cochran charges. I had made arrangements to pay the difference. Again nobody from Cochran called me to explain the problem and attempt to resolve it. I paid for my mom's funeral in full after 10 days and no notification from Cochran that my mom laid there uncremated. Luckily I could pay the cost and wait on my mom's prepaid refunded. Cochran finally admitted to me lots of places don't pay or not the whole prepaid amount. So please call me and have me check last Wednesday with the prepaid funeral home what the status was vs. my mom laying there like an unclaimed person because nobody followed through with me or the other funeral home. It broke my heart for my mom to lay there for 10 days unnecessarily ????. Maybe they even have places to go for financing. Nothing mentioned nothing was done. I really was heartbroken how I felt they dropped the ball.
