My car had broken down over the weekend, and everyone was telling me it could be my transmission. Naturally, I was terrified. Murphy Father and Son was the only shop between Andrews and Murphy that was open during that week, could see my car within the same week, and did transmission work. The day after I was able to get it towed to their shop, they called me explaining that it wasn't my transmission (praise!), but the CV axel was broken. They were able to order a new part which arrived the next day and was fixed that day as well!They were very nice and able to explain what was wrong with my car in a way that I could understand because I hardly know anything about cars. They work fast, work well, and it's very affordable. Long story short, I highly recommend!!Service: Auto maintenance

Went for a break pad/ caliper change on the lady's car. They took me without an appointment, when every other shop in town was full. They worked with me. I was treated fairly, even going above and beyond to ascertain that I'll also need front rotors and pads.. and a hub bearing on the civic. I know where I'll be bringing my vehicles for future repairs.Thank you murphy father and son auto's. ???? God bless you.

Murphy Father and Son auto shop may be simple and small, but the mechanic sure knows what he's doing! Robert has 45+ years of experience with all kinds of cars, and it shows. Robert has helped me with my car troubles no matter what the issue is. He's a fair honest man as well, he will tell you exactly whats wrong with the car and fix it at a fair price. He's one of the only few opened on Saturdays as well! Robert is now my Mechanic to go to for any trouble.
