I had no access to a printer and needed a document on paper. Walgreens to the rescue, it was easy through the app! 58 cents!

Don’t use this Walgreens! Picked up 4 prescriptions, I was supposed to have antibiotics but they gave me 5mg Xanax instead. I called corporate office and they are just as incompetent as the pharmacist filling everyone’s prescription! Check your prescription before leaving the store, it’s like “Forest Gump, you never know what your going to get”!!!!

This pharmacy informed me the day I was due to pick up my refill for my pain pills that because another pharmacy had made a mistake and refilled my prescription early several months past I had to wait 5 more days to refill it. The judgmental lack of compassion is typical of how people who are PRESCRIBED pain medication are treated. I pray none of these people never ever have to suffer the pain I have or the withdrawal I am facing. At 67 I have worked in mills and unheated job sites my whole life retiring this year only to be treated like some pitiful drug addict.

They suck, don’t ever go there to reload money onto a PayPal card or any kind of card. Rude people and they only let you reload $500 within 24 hours. I got yelled at for wanting to reload $1,000 onto a different card. Never again

The worst pharmacy. Had a prescription called in and instead of calling to let me know they didn’t have enough pills to fill it they tried processing the FIVE pills they had with my insurance. I guess it didn’t work out so they processed the other twenty five. When I called to see if it was ready, they told me it was processing at two places. I said that’s impossible, it’s the first time I am taking this and I gave my doctor only ONE pharmacy number. She said call my insurance. I spent nearly 40 minutes on the phone with insurance in the parking lot and they called Walgreens while I was on the phone and the rude man that works there said if I want more than five pills have the doctor call. It’s Friday and the doctor is gone. I decided to go inside and request to see that actual prescription thinking maybe I was confused. The woman that works there said they figured out what happened, who ever entered it did it twice and that they didn’t have enough. Check Monday between 3/4:00.
Monday I call at 5:00 and they said it didn’t come in. I call around locally no one had it in stock. I leave a message with my doctor that maybe I should take something else because I am concerned about stocking issues. Tuesday my doctor calls them and said yes they do have and they are filling it now. I said that’s weird, they told me they don’t have it but okay, great!
I check 20 minutes later….OUT OF STOCK. WTF? I call my doctor and she calls them. They tell her Thursday. I decided to try Hayesville. They have it! I transferred it to them.
Later that afternoon, my insurance rejects it because REFILL TOO SOON. I never got the first one. Now I am on the insurance again for nearly an hour. She couldn’t believe how many times Murphy entered it. When they transferred it to Hayesville, they never canceled the claim. Finally it is sorted out.
One month later…..i decided to go a different route with medication so the SAME doctor calls in my prescription to MURPHY even after I gave her the number to Hayesville…whatever according to the app it is processing. It then says later on, Insurance issue. I call Murphy at 3:15 and she told me it was an internet issue but it eventually went through. Ok, great….i will pick it up later.
Three hours later….guess what…OUT OF STOCK. You would think when i called them about the insurance that they would have said something. Now they are telling me it’s coming in THURSDAY. It’s now TUESDAY. I don’t believe them at all. I left a message with my doctor to see if it can be called into Hayesville because it’s a controlled substance and can’t be transferred. They have it in stock. Never again will I use Murphy location.
BTW……. Closing for lunch is ridiculous. You do lunch in shifts. There’s no reason to shutdown entirely. Some people only have lunch hour to get things done including picking up prescriptions.

Walgreens in Murphy, NC continues to provide customer service that is second to none. You can always count on the staff to assist no matter how busy the store or pharmacy is. The Pharmacy Staff should be commended for their ability to work in this high pressure area with limited resources. Customers need to be a little more patient and permit the staff to do their jobs safely and not expect instant gratification just because you feel your RX is any more important than those who came before you. Great job Pharmacy Staff, you truly are the best of the best!!!

I decided to not to use another pharmacy for a refill because a tech told me I could get my prescription for about $6 more than another pharmacy’s quoted price. When I picked up the prescription, however, it was $22 more and the tech at the drive through made no apologies and didn’t offer to get the pharmacist. I told the cashier inside the next time I visited the store and a pharmacist did call me. After two phone calls and much prompting by me for some kind of refund she promised to educate the staff on quoting prices and said they put $10 on my rewards card. Not sure why they can’t keep techs but corporate healthcare has made it hard for us all on both sides of the counter. I’ll do my best to use a different pharmacy from now on. I don’t need to be spending my time and money getting their staff educated.

Well Wallgreens has been very poor and actually closing or making smaller stores in Florida.
Needed a pharmacy bad for heart medication. They did not answer rhe phone so I drove 45 minutes.... avoiding 12 noon for lunch break.
Seems all 5 people take lunch at the same time..... eight as I arrived?at 1:30???
Then schooled me on how they have to eat.
Walgreens app now deleted from my phone.... they are dead to me.
Good luck.

Getting some prescriptions is awful. Especially pain medications. I had neck surgery and had nothing but hassles getting them filled!

Of the 4 pharmacies we have used in Murphy (Walmart, Kings and Ingles) and now Walgreens, Walgreens is by far the worst. I don't have any issues with the pharmacy staff, they're just overworked and understaffed, it's usuallythe automated phone system.
