This place and the people there are so welcoming! Judy really helped make our engagement and vacation so lovely. The jewelry is all so unique and charming! Will definitely be our go - to jewelers now !

My (now) fiancé proposed to me while we were on vacation in Nags Head and unfortunately the ring was too big. Gail came in and saved the day with a spacer so I could vacation without worrying it would fall off. She is the kindest woman and the jewelry in her shop is beautiful! 10/10 would recommend!

Such a fantastic jewelry shop! The staff is incredibly helpful and kind. We were on vacation and needed my new engagement ring resized. They went above and beyond, my ring looks flawless and they completed the process in only a few hours. Cannot speak more highly of Jewelry by Gail!!
From 1977 to 2023, Gail Kowalski created custom design earrings, rings, pendants, necklaces, and bracelets in gold, silver, and platinum in her Nags Head jewelry studio and shop. Her diamond jewelry, colored gemstone jewelry, and jewelry with exotic and unusual mineral stones earned her a reputation for artistic jewelry design. Some of Gail's designs are still available, but unfortunately Jewelry by Gail lost Gail on January 6, 2024. In Loving Memory of their fearless leader the shop will carry on. They also carry a variety of designer jewelry lines like Vahan, Amber Beata, Lola and Nicole Barr. It's Outer Banks Jewelry Shopping at its very best!
