I had the worst experience of my life for the first time at almo and I have been a client for many years, with the manager Pearl Rolison, her attitude was very horrible, arrogant, I don't know how it is possible for a manager to behave in that way, she did not have a bit of respected ???alamo don't need people like her

I arrived on Friday at 8:20pm, 10 min before the closing hours and there was no one to attend to me. In my opinion, it is disrespectful that they do not comply with the timetable.

What a fiasco! I rented a car for my daughter, who is licensed in the state, using a combination of rewards miles and credit card. The reservation online with CapitalOne went perfect. However, once we reached the EWN counter, they refused to allow my daughter to sign for the car, because she did not have a credit card; they would not accept her debit card. Ok, I thought, I'll use my credit card. I went in and explained that I would use my credit card. They refused, saying that the renter's name had to match credit card. This perplexed me. I explained that I would gladly use my card. They refused. So I asked them to change the driver on the reservation to my name. They indicated that they could not do that either. The only option given was for me to start a new reservation, under my name as the driver, and using my credit card. Oh and they could not credit me either; I would have to contact CapitalOne. ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I asked why I couldn't use my credit card to guarantee the reservation, as I was the one who made the reservation. The explanation, "That's our policy". I rented a car under my name, I ended up having to let my daughter drive my car, and wasted 30 minutes. Admittedly, I was upset, but the counter person insisted on arguing with me, even when I asked her not to do so. The only reason for 2 stars, is that they upgraded me from an intermediate car to a full size car. Alamo's policy is ridiculous and I will not use Alamo again. On the upside, CapitalOne is handling the credit side of the original reservation.

They waited til I landed at thier airport to tell me they no longer had any available cars, left me stranded for 3 hours and not helpful with helping me find a car or a refund. Lost my business for good, go to budget/avis or enterprise!
