Arrogant and rude. Dying dog treated as if he were the actual walking death to all dogs because he was not up to date on rabies. I have a new kitten who is recovering from being attacked by a dog and they want to shoot her up and okay, fine, but they want to get argumentative about it. "What if she is bitten by a dog with rabies?" There were 3 confirmed cases in North Carolina in dogs. Chances so slim. Kitten will never go outside, has zero risk factors. Parents and I talked about having dogs growing up. In the 80s we did not get vaccines for our dogs or cats. They all lived to 14 at a minimum and mostly 16-18 years and a couple over 20. One was 22 years old. Since vaccines not a single pet has lived beyond 12 years. Total defense of indefensible position, uneducated except in vaccine propaganda and RUDE. never again. Opposite of caring.

Great staff!! They all were patient, understanding and supportive throughout our visit. They understood our pet was a part of our family and treated her as such. They all showed the utmost compassion as we ultimately decided to help our girl cross the rainbow bridge.

Love the staff here. Techs really go the extra mile to calm “nervous” dogs and vets are wonderful. I switched from another office and cant be happier.

We had to put down our 14 year old black Lab today. The staff and Dr Kelly could not have been kinder, and the made the hardest part of a pet owner's life a little bit easer. I am grateful.

Can't say enough about Dr. Wheelis! We take all of our fur babies to him and he has even seen our snake & chameleon as well when they needed it.

Every one of our animal companions is patient here. The care is excellent, compassionate, and costs are on part with other local vets. I can't recommend them enough.

This is a veterinary practice who made a mistake and refuses to take responsibility for their actions. Why haven’t you offered to cover all medical costs? Recommending more tests is not taking responsibility, issuing an apology, or paying for more services. Despicable. Here is the story of the poor puppy they deprived of oxygen:My healthy Shiba Inu puppy was spayed here. My daughter noticed what seemed to be neurological problems with the puppy after the spay. Puppy was taken to another Vet hospital and after exam the veterinarian stated that the puppy may have suffered from hypoxia during spay surgery. The puppy has balance problems, can’t walk distances, and has gone partially blind.

If I could give this place a negative rating I would. My fiancée and I called to see if they could do an X-ray on our pet that swallowed something they shouldn't have and their response was "well if it happened earlier in the day we'd have resources to help". Sorry my animal eating something that they shouldn't have wasn't according to a schedule that worked for your animal HOSPITAL. Luckily we were able to go to another place that didn't basically tell us our animal wasn't worth their resources.
