IMHO, he is the best and once of the most knowledgeable vendors of historical US militaria in the Country, from before the Revolution through WWII. Mr. Gorges has really helped me with my collection of items relating to Black US CW troops, and has allowed me to be the caretaker for many of those historical items. Mr. Gorges is free with his knowledge and I believe him to be scrupulously honest in all of our many dealing. The Best.”
“LOVED MY EXPERIENCE, not only was the atmosphere inside the store one of a kind. There were super cool finds there that could not be discovered anywhere else! From amazing customer service to the best prices out there I can safely say this is my favorite store!”
“Nice collection of antiques and vintage items. Easy parking. I would have given 5 stars but with the heat wave going on and no a/c inside the building, it was stifling to be in there even with fans going so we browsed very quickly. But I will visit again when weather turns cooler.”
“I have always been pleased when working with Tom with my coins… never a problem. Quick service-he’s very knowledgeable.. I like to give silver dollar for gifts to parents of Newborns.. Tom always helps me with my coin selection.. I do not understand the negative review on here..”
“We’ve came here a few times and we absolutely love it! Only thing I’d like to mention is the smell. It smells like someone has incense lit all over the store and it’s extremely overwhelming. Each time I come I get a headache from how strong the smell is. And I have heard others complain of the same thing in the store. Other than that, amazing store!”
“Stop the car!! You need to see what's inside this unassuming building. Enter into a world of adventures for book lovers, jewelry hounds, antique advocates, fashionistas, and gift getters. Frequently fabulous furniture! Bring your tape measure and your wallet...you will find something that calls to you.”
