“This time (and I have used their expertise often) they were terrific in connecting me with an art restoration expert. I have part of a Medieval music manuscript that was hand-inked on vellum. I estimate the date between the 13th and 15th centuries in age and it needs a good bit of work. It is not this restorer's area so he sent me to a conservator who works with paper and vellum. Doris, the gallery owner, helped me to figure out an optimal framing and preservation plan that we will do when the conservation work is complete. And all of this for no up front charge. This is the kind of shop she and Jeff run; a wealth of knowledge, expert framing, and happy to help any customer who comes in. I highly recommend them to anyone”

“I adore this place! The collections of pieces is wonderful. I have been in for the postcards and cards that some of the artists create. I send out those finds to family and friends all over the country. They always comment on the watercolors used by certain artists. I have also been able to find some great gifts for the women in my life at this gallery. If you are looking to support local artists, this gallery is the best place to do so in New Bern. Locals or visitors alike should make this gallery a must-see when walking around the Downtown streets.”

“What a great location with great local artists. The old bank is such a great ambience for art. Was very happy to finally get to come in here for the Art Walk and see and purchase some great local art from some great artists. The staff here was amazing and friendly and really took care of everyone. So definitely be back soon.”
