Most of us don't have extensive experience dealing with body shops so selecting one for a repair can be a crapshoot - such was my case as I'm a recent new resident to New Bern. Big props to Alex who not only walked me thru the necessary insurance steps but interceded to break a logjam at Geico thanks to his personal relationship with their adjuster. My vehicle work was scheduled quickly, the components were ordered in timely fashion and the labor was efficient and flawless. The supplemental claim estimate for unseen damage was breezed thru the insurer by Alex' capable administration without me having to be involved. Best of all, the finished car work was exceptional - perfect paint match and blend topped it off to an ideal result. If you want hassle-free body service, choose Bear. My wife came here to fix her bumper and she couldn’t have been more pleased with the service she was provided. They responded to her very quickly and they were very kind and she got her car back within a week!! We came to pick up the car and the bumper looked as good as new, you can’t even tell there was ever anything wrong. We are both very happy with the whole experience, 11/10.

Absolutely LOVED coming here. It was really great working with Alex, he responded to my emails quickly and he was super nice when I came in person. I got my car back so quickly, within a week. I will definitely 100% come back here if need be.

Great experience with Bear Auto Body. I was so upset when someone hit my car while it was parked in a parking lot. I had never had to take a vehicle for work at a body shop before and wasn't sure how things would go, but Alex made it a breeze. He was very informative and upfront. The work done at the shop was quick and great quality. The staff was courteous and professional. They even washed my car and cleaned up the inside before I picked it up. I would definitely recommend them. Bear Auto Body gets 5 stars from me!

These guys were professional, quick, and did a great job. I was impressed and enjoyed a spirited conversation about mechanical stuff. These guys really know their stuff. If you want a restoration, these guys will make you leave smiling like a pig in slop.

I have used shops that are "cheaper" trying to save a buck. What a mistake! The best shops only charge a fraction more and the jobs ends up matching perfectly. Otherwise you regret it for the remainder of the time you own the car. Do you really want to be reminded of your mistake every time you come up to your car??Also, these guys are so polite and professional. Highly recommended. You'll have better luck dealing with the insurance company than them. Your insurance want to keep you as a paying customer.
