Just came here to see if Pearl was fired yet. Worst experience I’ve ever had with an employee.

Like all rental car companies, they will gladly give your reservation to anyone else who is willing to pay more. Don’t count on them holding your reservation if you got any sort of discount

Presently stranded in New Bern because they gave the car I reserved to someone else. No apology, no nothing, just told me to get lost. If you rent a car from these jerks, you'll be sorry.

After my car was rear-ended (and later totaled) I needed needed a rental. Enterprise really does pick you up! The entire process was easy and the car I was given was clean. Everyone I dealt with in New Bern was so nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Our flight was delayed multiple times to the point that we wouldn’t arrive in time to get our rental car before closing. Malcom was amazing and worked with us and even stayed to have a car ready for us to pick up late. Absolutely took so much stress from that portion of our trip, amazing!

Freaking fantastic service, car rentals can be a pain but this one definitely was not. They went the extra mile before the trip by letting me pick the car a day in advance(I called to check what was available at that location), the car was new and spotless and they left a cleaning cloth in the car, and they even gave it to me with a full tank. As an old car prep at the 10u4 location they did a great job! And when I returned the car they also helped me out with billing to make sure it was the price as quoted when I reserved the car 3 months prior. I highly recommend these guys! But the only advice I have is to make calling that location easier by changing the number to match the Alamo phone number at that location so it's easier to reach that location. But like I said, I'll definitely be back ?

I made a reservation. Got to the counter only to be told I couldn't use my debit card unless I was flying into or out of the airport. I was directed to Hertz and Avis which no agent was present. So I was told basically that if have to wait for someone. Why is it that a debit card can be used if you're flying but not if you just need a rental?? Makes no sense. I will NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

Jim called the day before and Confirmed my reservation. Unfortunately my flight was delayed and I had to wait over 6 hours for the next flight. I called and spoke with Jim again and he said by the time I'd get there he would be closed and I would not be able to get a taxi or Uber. So he put me on hold for a quick second and came be to tell me he'd wait for me. My flight got in past midnight! This is the nicest thing anyone has done for me in a long time. When I arrived there he was waiting for me and even though it was late he didn't rush and was just as friendly in person as on the phone. I appreciate his kindness especially after suck a long travel day.

Great experience. Helenia was friendly, professional, and answered all my questions. My agreed rental wasn't there, so I was put in what I'd call an upgrade. (2022 Highlander, with 350 miles on the clock) So I couldn't be happier. Clean facility, in and out super fast. Cost was what I expected, but the upgrade was above expectations. Couldn't be happier.

Lady at the counter was extremely rude, on top of the fact that to rent a truck you have to use a credit card? If you have the money in the account why the hell does it matter what kind of card it is? They’re lucky I didn’t fly in with no way to get around.Wont ever try using this service again.

Do everything you can not to rent from this Enterprise. I rented a mini van in Raleigh (at 2 am) for our family of 5 to get from the Raleigh airport to our family's house in New Bern. We drove the car straight to the house, parked it in a very safe neighborhood driveway and the next day around 7pm drove it over to the airport (after sitting in the driveway all day) and dropped it off. The next day I received a call saying there was damage to the vehicle on both the drive and passenger side, same place next to the rear wheels. There was also a "scratch" on the back bumper. There are so many things wrong with this situation. 1st: When I picked up the car was parked in a lot with no lights at the Raleigh airport, the associate quickly took me around the car with a flashlight for me to inspect damage. He did not show me any of the current damage and when I showed him some scratches he told me we only need to note damage 6 inches or larger (I found out later that its 2 in. or larger). The car was also backed up against a wall and he did not pull it out to show me the rear. 2nd: We literally drove straight from Raleigh to New Bern and then the next day to the airport. These scratches they are claiming I made would have been difficult to make on both side of the car in the same place. 3rd: Pearl (New Bern Manager) told me the Raleigh manager would call me in the next few days to discuss the claim. I didnt receive a call so I called the damage claim unit and waited on hold for 30 min. and was told a dispute to the claim was not placed yet. 4th: When I returned the car I parked it in the lot and walked the keys inside the airport. No one even looked at the car until the next day. I asked Pearl who assessed the damage and determined the damage was not there prior to me renting the car. She said it was the person who processes the returns. I said Id like to speak to them but she could not help me with that. 5th: I asked for a report or illustration of the damages on the car prior to me renting. She also said she could not provide it. I am now waiting to hear from the damage recovery unit to see if they will drop the claim. I expect good customer service from Enterprise and am hoping they do the right thing.

Pearl and Jim are super troopers who work both the Enterprise and Alamo booths at this airport. These two individuals and frankly everyone working there bend over backwards for the customers and treat them all with the utmost respect ! Yes..and even when emotionally immature and demanding customers are being impatient and disrespectful to them. I have had the unfortunate opportunity to witness this multiple times. In every case their responses were helpful and with a smile. I have rented several vehicles from them over the past year or more and in every case received nothing less than above and beyond service with a smile and southern charm. New Bern NC is a charming town with all of the ambience you would expect. Meeting these two as your first encounters set the stage for the friendly welcome that will continue to experience in New Bern. I recommend you drop the other auto rental companies and go with Enterprise and join the National Emerald Club community !! With people like these working for them you will not regret it !!

Pearl hates her job and you’re gonna hate her job, too. I rented a car from enterprise but when I got to the counter there was a sign saying that the associates from National would help me. Pearl at National charged me $50 dollars more than I was quoted when I made the reservation and told me that the economy car I reserved was unavailable so I had to upgrade for $30 if I wanted to leave on time. Usually they upgrade you for free. She also said my reservation was for 12pm, when I made the reservation for 9am. I looked back in my email and Enterprise never sent me any confirmation so I knew something fishy was going on. But Pearl wouldn’t stop trying to upsell me. So I called enterprise and waited on hold for 40 min to get a human who helped me fix the time, applied my original quoted price, and sent me a confirmation email. I went back to Pearl and she said a car would be prepared for me at that moment. Half an hour later, I was still waiting. Then they told me a needed a piece of mail with my address in order to rent the car. What?!? I’ve rented cars many times and have never had this much trouble- even at much cheaper places. $485 for a 2 day car rental and the worst customer service I’ve ever received. I’d recommend taking an Uber to a car rental outside the airport than use National or Enterprise at New Bern airport.

We had a pretty awful experience with Enterprise at the New Bern, NC airport. Our flight coming into New Bern was delayed. I spoke with the representative at new Bern who informed me they could only wait 2 hours from our expected landing time. This was completely understandable but still frustrating. Our flight landed 3 minutes after that 2 hour mark and sure enough the representative had left. Luckily I was able to have a friend pick us up and I had told that representative we would be back in the morning for the car if we didn't make it in time. Well we couldn't exactly get an uber or lyft from where we were staying as that didn't exist so we finally we able to find someone to give us a ride around 10:30am. I called enterprise to let them know my fiancé was coming for the car. The representative quickly told me they gave my car away as we didn't show up at 8am and then proceeded to say he couldn't talk as he had a line of customers waiting. He was completely rude and unaccommodating. I truthfully cannot believe how short he was with me and likely will never be renting from enterprise again. I can understand the being unable to wait for our flight to get in.... but the way we were treated in the morning was the tipping point for me.
