“Dropped in for a quick morning workout. Facility was organized and you can tell they clean the floor unlike other boxes. The coach was friendly and informative. After the warm up he went through the workout and scaled options for all the movements. The shirts are reasonably priced and aren’t cheap material. They even have jump ropes and lifting tape for sale which is amazing. 11/10 will return.”

“This is my 6 month anniversary of being a member of Sound Fitness. This was all new to me but I recognized a need to work on my fitness. The people here want everyone to be successful. Both the staff and patrons are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Ruth did my orientation and will stop to answer any question. All the other staff has also given useful guidance. I have never felt any less important than anyone else. It has always been well maintained. I have not had the opportunity to try a class but I plan to do that soon. The app is very easy to use and I think I will have no problem when I decide to schedule a class.”

“Marzanne and all other teachers are awesome! We have been attending classes for the last 4-5 months and love being there myself too. I would leave my kiddo there for summer camps knowing she will be safe and sound. They are very creative to keep kiddos engaged and entertained.”

“This is a fantastic place to get your gym from Johnnie Ray Kinsey Fitness Center. The Owner Alderman Johnnie Ray Kinsey is a 3x time Elected official for being Alderman of of his district in New Bern. When you have him as your trainer the only thing he ask is that you come with an can do attitude and committment. His training got my little brother to professionally for the Arena Football league. He has trained Bone Crusher Smith for boxing. He competed in many body building contest and won many trophies and even competed in the Mr. Universe against Arnold Schwarzenegger. Aldermen Kinsey has many life experiences and he will always tell you the truth. I have the upmost respect for this man and there is nothing I would do for him. I will always consider him family and you will too, just sign up and he will give you that transformation you always desired for your body.”

“I like the fact that there's not a bunch of conceited half-dressed people running around here. I feel comfortable because there's all ages and nobody is showing off”
