I worked through the location in New Bern, where I received courteous and helpful service from the minute I walked through the showroom door. The over-all contact person from the main office/warehouse was excellent, she walked me through the process step by step by email AND phone. My counter tops were well chosen and installed in a surprising timely manner. The installers were friendly and properly experienced. I don't know what else a customer could possibly ask for.

Received a quote, via e-mail from them on a bathroom vanity top replacement project, 20 minutes later I received another e-mail from them backing outOf the project. They provided no reason. I called and asked for owner, but he refuses to speak to me. Very unprofessional and unfair of them, I still don’t know why this happened !

Bad communication, Receptionist was nasty. Charged an extreme amount for unfinished cabinet work. They had to come back and fix it. Was also over charged and they had to refund me the difference

The absolute worse experience & customer service from a company! I do not ever write bad reviews even if I have had a terrible experience somewhere BUT Onslow Stone will definitely get a 1, or should get a 0 star review for what we have been put thru! This has been a 4+ week process of trying to get our quartz countertops finished with screw up after screw up, giving us the runaround about install times, wrong cad measurements, a quartz slab that doesn’t even flow, POOR communication.. I mean I can go on! We weren't even given the option for a digital layout, which we didn’t KNOW that was even an option, until they fired the girl this week & told us that was supposed to be apart of this process! Now here it is on a Friday evening where we have things to do and get done, we were told our install was supposed to be 3-5 (this is the second time they have had to come back because the measurements were wrong the first install - they didn’t arrive that night till 9:15 on a school night at that on May 2nd & left at 10:30) & it’s 6:00, with no call, no nothing! I’m sure others have had better experiences but we will NEVER ever use this company again nor recommend to anyone! Our experience has sucked & to think its supposed to be a $5,000 job, I’d rate it a $100 experience if that, no $10! Maybe your company & “management” should take classes on customer relations or fix your processes! This is terrible!!

I went in the shop to buy granite countertops, but I have always dreamed of having marble ones. The lady showed me my dream could be a reality and the price was about the same to get the marble counters!! They are gorgeous !! Fast installation! I had one little installation glitch, which was quickly remedied, and I now have the kitchen of my dreams !! Thank you all so very much for making this all happen!!

They ruined my floors by not closing the water valves under the sink when they removed the sink and faucet. I had the water turned off to the house (thank the lord), but there was still water in the lines. They just ripped everything up without even checking. That night when I came home there was water everywhere in the kitchen. They refused to pay for the damages. Horrible customer service By the owners.

I paid for my countertops in full on the day I ordered. I had my install and they broke the piece on the first installation and then they came back at the end of the week after telling me they would be there between 11-2 and they didn't show until 5:30 at night costing me a day of pay and then broke another stone. The job still isn't done, then they charged me more after I had already paid in full. My stones done match from the original piece I selected!

After MANY attempts to rectify the situation of the bad installation we were never even acknowledged. We will let the community know of the bad work and the even worse customer service. Could not find a worse countertop company. Are contemplating legal recourse.

My mom's estate jewerly was stolen during countertop installation. $20K. I called company repeatedly. They never called back. You make your own decision to hire.

Our house was flooded in Hurricane Florence. The kitchen granite counter tops had to come out. The original granite seller would not return our calls. We removed the granite ourselves unfortunately fracturing it in several places. Visiting the Onslow Stoneworks New Bern office we were told they would be glad to help. Once we had the cabinets reinstalled they sent an expert out to access the damage and prepare a quote. He showed up on time and assured me that they could reinstall the granite and make the repairs. The quote was very reasonable. The representative, Emily, in the New Bern Office, provided a preparation checklist to ensure we were ready for the reinstallation. She also ordered a sink to make sure we had the sink of our choice in the correct dimension for the counter. It was one less thing for me to do. On the scheduled day, Michael and Hunter arrived, looking professional, courteous, and properly equipped to start and complete the task. They completed the work such that I can't spot the previous damage. Then they cleaned up the area and took all the waste with them. So here's the take away. They respond to calls, they follow up, they show up, they clean up and they they take pride in doing high quality work. This experience was a breath of fresh air. Great people doing great work.
