“If you are only going to visit one pawn shop in eastern North Carolina, it needs to be this one. All of the staff is kind and courteous. The inventory is well stocked and cataloged, unlike other pawn shops I have been to where everything is scattered all over the place. The staff is very well knowledged about the products they are selling and every time I have been in it has been a great experience. During the summer I had a couple of AC units that I was trying to get rid of and they allowed me to come in on a day they had scheduled to be closed just to accommodate me and my schedule. I cannot recommend and compliment them enough. At East 70 pawn you don't leave feeling like just another sale or transaction, you leave feeling like a valued friend who they can't wait to see walk through that door again.”

“Today we took our 6 year old grandson in to look for a little hand saw . He dug up some pretty rocks that look like crystals an he wanted to see if they had any gold in them so we took him there and because the crystals of course didn’t have any gold our grandson said he would give them to him as a trade . The saw was only 3 bucks but I didn’t have enough money but our grandson continued to tell the guy he would make a trade with him and well guess what that what the guy did. We thought that was so sweet. He had the kindest heart and attitude about it. We really appreciate him and what he did. Because he could have said no that he was sorry but that’s not what he did. So I want to say thank you to him. I didn’t catch his name but we really appreciate his kindness. Thank you so much! An of course the little handsaw is used with supervision ?”
