The people are friendly and helpful but the pharmacy hours are inconvenient and they are understaffed and things get confused. Finally I changed to another pharmacy that is much better

I scheduled a drive thru COVID test appointment in advance but when I drove through, they made me wait 30minutes in the parking lot because they couldn't print my paperwork. They said they would call me and never did and when I drove back through was held up longer because of more paperwork. Do NOT go there for pharmacy needs-Very inefficient and unhelpful staff!

I would trust a drug dealer on the corner of Broad Street before I would trust this place. And don't even get me started on the rudeness and unprofessional nature of the people working behind the counter here. I have lived all over this country with the military and I have never seen a pharmacy this bad. Quite an accomplishment. Good job! ?

How have you people not been sued yet? I have lapsed on my medications more times than I can count because of the incompetent people working at the pharmacy here!

Been a Walgreens customer for 15 years getting all my medications from them. Called to check if one of my meds is available because of nationwide shortage and they tell me they won't fill my prescription because it's coming from an out of town doctor. I just moved to the area and haven't had a chance to go to a doctor here yet. The lady I spoke with was rude and unhelpful. I'll find somewhere else to do my business. Thanks for leaving me out in the cold Walgreens.

Terrible service, very disorganized in the pharmacy. The pharmacist has no sympathy.I came back the next day. It was a different pharmacist, and it was like night and day. Better service.!

White glove customer service. First big shout out to Ms. Margaret, Ms. Staci and Mr. Adrian the manager. I visited 48 hours prior for a prepaid reload and to my surprise the reload did not complete. As you could imagine I was very upset. However once I entered the store Staci began to assist me as Ms. Margaret was with a customer. I explained that I was there previously with my receipt and my cash did not load. She assured me that I'd be getting taken care of by Ms. Margaret. Ms. Margaret then grabbed Mr. Adrian the manager and explained that she remembered me and knew we took our time but something was amiss. Once we all four worked together I was no longer angry and was able to have the situation corrected immediately. Friendliest staff with great amount of concern. Best store hands down for the southern region. Thank you for making my day ?

I was second in line at the window, waiting for 45 minutes to get my prescription, and when I got to the window finally, the curtain was slammed on me, with the pharmacy tech yelling at me saying “we’re closed!” I mentioned that I’d been in line for 45 minutes, and they weren’t closed when I got in line. They yelled again that they were closed. I have been a loyal Walgreens customer ever since the Walgreens in front of the hospital was built. I have to drive over 30 minutes just to get to New Bern, because the surrounding county I live in doesn’t have medical care, or a pharmacy, that stays open later than 5-6pm. I only used this location this trip, because I’d gone to MedFirst Urgent Care in the plaza beside this Walgreens, and thought it would be more convenient. Disappointed in the MLK facility would be an understatement. Not to mention, I desperately needed the antibiotics and steroids I was prescribed the night I needed to pick them up, due to having to use urgent care services, because I had to work later than expected. I worked late and tended to the needs of those that were still there, because we don’t treat our clients like they’re numbers and don’t matter where I work. Take a hint, MLK location. Seems to be a pattern with so many reviews saying the same sort of thing.

ABSOLUTELY WORST PHARMACY EVER! Martin Luther King in New Bern… 3 times in a row I had to make multiple trips to get my medicine. Rude & hateful pharmacist & older short cashier lady! I showed up 30 minutes before closing but waited in line until 10 minutes left. Pharmacist had nerve to ask me to come back next day because they were closing! Cashier snatched my phone from my hand when I was showing her a text saying it was ready. I will NEVER go back!!

This place is the worst. Do not believe anything they say. They will leave you on the phone for hours just to lie about prescriptions being ready. I will never use this store again. I have given them the “benefit of the doubt” multiple times just for them to prove once again they are horrendous at everything they do. You will be inconvenienced time and time again if you decide to use this joke of a pharmacy. Do not recommend.

The staff that works in the pharmacy is the most rude people in this world, I got called a "liar!" to my face then she found out I wasn't lieing to her at all, I was actually being honest about things. They also don't know how to count. When your supposed to get your meds on the 14th, well day two week prescription say I picked them up on the 11th, well 13 days after that would be the 23rd right?Because you start taking your meds on the 11th well for some reason they make me wait 2 or 3 days later and they make me go with out my meds for that long and it's not a medication you can do that. They need new workers ASAP, I'm not going to be called a liar again!!!
