Over the years this store has seen a few different people but the last few times I have gone in the associate has been super helpful and friendly, even offered advice. Normally I’d have to go to them but after apologizing profusely for coming to the store 10 minutes before close, the associate made me feel as though I was actually wanted there, even if she was absolutely trying to close the store. This is customer service.

Friendly service. Confirmed sale details but was incorrect. I went back and ended up returning items which weren't actually on sale after all. They don't seem to have much in stock of what I'm looking for in general. Had one this time and none last visit.

Super rude and petty girl at checkout. I believe she had either pink or blue hair. My friend did not want to provide name and email for coupons, she was in a rush and just wanted to pay and leave. The lady demanded that she provided her information and when she finally did she rudely said “see that wasn’t so hard was it?” Absolutely so awkward and rude. Thankfully my husband wasn’t with us, she wouldn’t have been the only rude one.

Closed 10 minutes early when I drove there got there well before closing and drove 30 mins just for that store. Ridiculous.

This is the worst Sally’s I have been to. I spend a min of $200 a week at Sally’s as a local hair dresser and I called Sally’s tonight at 6:31 pm and spoke to a girl. I asked her what time she closed she said she would be open 30 more minutes she was closing at 7. I left vanceboro and hurried over. I arrived at 6:46pm and the door was locked. I called several times as I could see her inside. Finally she answered the phone I explained to her I was the one who called and desperately needed just 1 bottle of developer and explained she told me she would still be open. She said oh well come back tomorrow. I then asked her name because I wanted to speak to a manager she said I’m not telling you my name and my manager is sick so she won’t be here for a while. The rudest and worst experience I have received in customer service especially in this industry.

I have looked all over for these gold foil shavers and Sally's beauty is the only place that I have found in the area that carries them. Stores very clean and nice inside and seems to have a lot when it comes to hair and beauty products

Recently had a great experience at the new store. The associates were VERY helpful. My only suggestion is that they should post their hours on the door, especially since they now close at 6:00. PM.

I'm honestly extremely frustrated with the Sally Beauty in New Bern. They have an okay selection, but they are constantly running out of stock and their sales posters are misleading. I couldn't even ask about the sale until I was checking out because the lady, who I assume is the manager seeing as she is there every time I shop and moved over from the previous location, is constantly disappearing. I stood there for 15 minutes waiting for her to come back out from the back as the other employee was checking out a long line of customers just so I could ask her for more information about the sale. During my last visit, she was rather rude, was on her phone almost the entire time, and even disappeared for a while. At the previous location, she acted as if my asking her to help me find some bleach was like asking her to build a house out of a bag of beans (she was on her phone the entire time, too.) If it weren't for her lack of professionalism, I'd consider giving this location a higher rating. However, I find it ridiculous that someone who seems to be managing the place cannot even manage her personal time separately from her professional time.P.s. the new store hours are not great for people who work long workdays. Highly suggest just ordering online.
