Service department is incompetent. I drive 1 hour and showed up 0730 for an oil change and a diagnosis. After 2 hours passed, they returned my car only to tell me they couldn't diagnosis my problem due to their internet being down..... So you mean to tell me it takes 2 hours to change the oil when I'm the first car in line? To wrap up the review, they said they washed my car but that was a lie. They told me they would email me my receipt, but failed to do so. I can see why this place gets low reviews now. ?\\u200d♂️

I took my vehicle to get a battery in my “dead” key fob. I also took my other key fob, that was working to change the battery. Since I was in the area, and would not have to drive there if it went out in a few weeks. The girl took my fobs to replace my batteries; and while doing so, she broke some internals on my "working" fob; so it is not working now. She replaced the battery like 3 times and then said something was broken internally. I said I wanted to speak with the manager; it took him around a 1 hr. and half for him to come and talk with me. He told me that with it being broken I would have to purchase a new one; which was $500. It would be nice even if he would have said “since we broke it, maybe we can pay half” but he did not even say anything. I would not recommend this place anyone.

Attempted purchasePurchased a 2018 new Volvo XC90 from dealership. In attempting to order a new 2023 Volvo, as a repeat customer, they required a $3000 nonrefundable deposit!! Issue being we head N in 3mos and if vehicle didnt arrive in time we are out the deposit--they would not flex!Went to another Volvo dealer and they only require a $500 REFUNDABLE deposit!!Jeremy the sales contact was most helpful but mgt would not flexWon't be back

tl;dr: the issue was not fixed, the customer service was sub-par to the Volvo standard, and my interactions with the general manager were disrespectful. I will be contacting Volvo about this experience. I called to make an appointment for a transmission issue and asked if this service center offered courtesy vehicles. I was told yes, they do offer them for $35/day. I came in, got the issue diagnosed, and was told that I could drop off the car the following Tuesday and it would potentially be ready for me on Thursday, but definitely by Friday as this was a 16-hour job. I took them by their word for this as this was the week before Thanksgiving - I was set to drive to family that Sunday. I was then told they did not have courtesy vehicles available and that I would need to rent a car. That amounted to $85 per day that I had to pay. 1st issue: There was no proactive attempt to address my need to pay $50/day more for a service that I had thought would be available to me at a lesser price. After talking with the Service Advisor I was told that they would take off $200. I dropped the Volvo off on Tuesday and waited for an update on Thursday. Friday morning I give Volvo a call. I called twice before being able to get in touch with someone on the third try. I asked if they could provide an update and told them I needed to return my rental vehicle later that day. 2nd issue: I was called an hour and a half later saying that my car would not be ready until Monday. I was supposed to leave Sunday to drive to family for Thanksgiving. They attempted to rectify the situation by saying they would provide me with a loaner vehicle - a Chevy Malibu - free of charge. 3rd issue: Once I arrived back at the Volvo dealership I was given the keys to the Chevy. Chips in the windshield, dings in the doors, and the upholstery in the passenger floor area was ripped up. Not a vehicle I would expect to be given as a loaner to anyone and certainly is not representative of the standards of Volvo. The next day, Saturday, I call to talk to the general manager to talk about compensation for this situation. The service timeline that I had agreed on when I chose to move forward with the repairs was not adhered to and this was costing me much of my time and money and was disrupting plans I had made around this service visit. I was told that they could take 20% off of labor. I accepted and insisted that the $200 off be honored. We agreed on the final price and I asked for a receipt to be emailed to me. 4th issue: The receipt was $300 more than what had been agreed upon. I had to call again and force the gm to hold to the deal that we had verbally agreed upon. During that conversation with the gm, I was also told that my car would be finished by the end of the day, Saturday afternoon. This was surprising information to me. I stressed to them that I did not want my car rushed. The general manager insisted that nothing was rushed. I drive back to the dealership to pick up the car and insist that I talk to the mechanic. The mechanic voiced to me that he was rushed on Friday. 5th issue. 6th issue: I was then made aware that my car had been sitting in the lot and was not touched until Thursday. No wonder my car was not getting fixed on time. I had to pay for a rental car unnecessarily for three days and my time and plans that I had made around this visit were being disrupted due to the service center's inability to properly manage their schedule. 7th issue: I asked to talk to the gm in person before leaving. I voiced my dissatisfaction with this entire experience and that it was unacceptable that I had to call him back about honoring a price that we had agreed upon over the phone. He proceeded to interrupt me by saying "thank you" and stuck his hand out for a handshake. Completely disrespectful. 8th issue: It is now a week and a half later and I was told by a different auto shop that there are still issues with my transmission. I will be bringing the car into another Volvo shop to get it fixed under warranty.

We purchased a new Volvo sport wagon and had it regularly serviced at the dealership. After keeping the car for THREE DAYS (with a scheduled service appointment), we were told the pistons and rings needed to be replaced at a cost of over $5,200! After doing some research, it seems many 2015 onwards Volvo engines have a track record of losing oil, which can cause the engine to need replacement, but considering the gentle use and timely care we have given the car, to have to rebuild an engine with about 73,000 original miles seems a bit absurd. The issue is almost as absurd as the Volvo engine NOT HAVING A DIPSTICK so you can check the oil! The dealership offered no assistance so we will have to escalate the issue. If you decide to blow $50k+ on one of these, better buy an extended warranty package!

I took my vehicle in for a leaking sun roof. I didn't realize this, but Volvos are infamous for that problem! It never crossed my mind that my vehicle would be in the service shop for over two weeks! The sad thing about it was that the dealership wasn't concerned with solving the problem. They just left my vehicle outside for days.I would have thought that if this water leak problem was so prevalent in Volvos, they would advise me, or inform me that preventative maintenance, or scheduled service needed to be performed. However, that's not the case. I've owned this particular vehicle for nearly 4 years and have brought it in for regular service. Not once did anyone ever bring this to my attention. I am disappointed with the support from this Volvo dealer, as well as the communication between them and their customers.Volvo customers are, for the most part, loyal to the brand. However, this particular dealership leaves a lot to be desired, in my opinion.
