Customer who turned in my lost (dropped) credit card to the folks at the gas station desk today (7-31-25) I'm truly truly grateful. THANK YOU!
Folks running the gas station desk, BIG HUGS for keeping my card safe until I figured where I must have dropped it and came back to get it. By the way, this has been my family's number one local gas station for the past 7 years and will continue to be. Always someone nice behind the front desk. The gas has been good and never caused our three vehicles any problems and the price at the pump is frequently better than in two neighboring towns. We appreciate you folks.

Not able to earn or use Exxon Mobil rewards at this location. Cashier didn't seem to care or know why the store wasn't able to take rewards.

The gas here is really good and you may ask well isn't all gas stations the same, unfortunately some have bad gas.

Was heading from TN to Grandfather Mt. Everything in this area closes way earlier than we expected, so we got there, mm...mmaaaybe 10 minutes after they locked the door. So I'm remaining neutral on all things inside-related.As far as exterior, it appears to be an older, revamped store. It could stand some aesthetic improvements, but overall very typical for what & where it is. Also, some more exterior lights would make it feel a little more welcoming/safer.We didn't see any sign of an accessible bathroom outside, which was unfortunate for my husband. So we proceeded to check every business from McD to Napa to (a beer barn? The old Flick Video d|This is how we came to know that EVERYTHING in Newland seems to close very early. (Like 9 o'clock on a Sat. Night).I was still able to get gas using a card at the pump- intended to pay cash, luckily had an emergency card on me or we may not have made it to our destination. (Or a potty?).I usually get gas before leaving JC/E'town, because as the elevation increases so do gas prices. At the very least, I stop at the gas/store right after turning off of Gap Creek (used to be Capt. Jack's - I'm drawing a blank on the current name) they've the last "good" gas prices on my route. Also, the owner did me a solid a while back. So, now I try to recommend his store & give them any business I can.So my rating is meh, I got what I needed, not what I wanted, but I have no specific complaints.

This gas station is a scam he charge the price if front of you face if you don’t pay attention. I was buying cigarettes when he scan it shows 7.45 he said that not the price 8.75
