“My first experience with these wonderful people was yesterday afternoon when I took an injured squirrel in. They were helpful, informative, and kind! This is absolutely a great service to our community! After dropping the squirrel off, I went to Atlantic Beach and found a cormorant that had been caught in fishing line and could not fly! I immediately reached out to them again and was quickly responded to through Facebook messenger! They asked if I could bring the bird in! Megan is great and very informative! She also taught me a little bit about Cormorants! Did you know these “water birds” can become waterlogged and drown? If you get a chance, take the time to look at their wishlist and/or make a donation! They can not continue without us and where would our wildlife be without them?”

“My dog escaped from my underground fence and was detained and delivered to the Human Facility in Newport. I was able to contact the facility and verify my dog. All that was required to release my dog was medical records (rabies verification) and a $20.00 "bail". He was well taken care of, and the people were kind and helpful.”

“Big store. Clean from the parking lot to the checkout line. I went there because the prices I was told were even lower than Walmart. Some were, but some were not. The reason four ?'s when I got home I started tasting a few things. Nothing spoiled or disgusting, but their food has a distinct difference from all the other food Marts. Again, it's not bad, just different. To me, richer and slightly overwhelming taste and smell. Their employees were attentive, friendly, and talkative. Make sure to bring your own checkout carrying bag, or you can purchase one of their's. Don't hold me to this. I think the range is from 50cents to $2.99, I believe. I bought the $1.99 one, and it's nice. Yellow big and insulated-in photos.”

“Took my puppy for her first time appointment puppy bath, nail trim etc. It was included in the coupon book I purchased. The groomer, Ashley, was absolutely wonderful. Hildie loved her...I could tell. All the groomers were very friendly. Excellent service! When I checked out my coupon wouldn't work. A manager was called and he explained we also got a cut which wasn't covered, but he honored the coupon anyway. Very pleasant and helpful cashier and manager. This store has always served us well.”

The time they took to assist me was lengthy, but yet when I had questions they listened and helped me get the right part the first time. I would highly recommend this store. “Wow I am so impressed with the pet shop- I had been dealing with several others in the area and each time something comes up and they stop carrying my dog food I buy. I have been using Stella Chewy raw chicken small patties. I looked on the Stella Chewy website to find another place that sells this food. I got there before the store opened and waited till 10am. Doors opened right at 10 to a very pleasant young lady- Britney. Greeted us and asked how can she help. I wasn't the 1st thru the door so a few others went before and I looked around the store...clean and neat and didn't smell at all. All animals looked healthy and clean with food and water in one's that have it consistently. When it was my turn she was so VERY helpful. I brought an empty bag of what I buy for my pup and she eased my mind that they carry this and order Mondays and get it by Thursday. She also informed me that they will call when it arrives in the store. What FABULOUS customer service. ( I work at Lowes foods in cape Carteret and customer service is what we strive for) Britney was very helpful and took care of my order in a very timely manner.I want who ever owns this shop that you have a great employee. Thank you for easing my mind and making this as easy as can be. A new satisfied customer!! My pup and I are happy!!??”
