STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF UNTIL YOU QUIT GOING THERE! I took my 11-month old puppy in for an ear infection last May. They charged me $48 for a 120 mL spray bottle of GentaVed Antibiotic medicine. that you can get at Chewy for $6,50 for 60 mL. That's a 400% markup!Or you can get it for $13 at Costco. I can understand some markup, but come on now! That's clearly price-gouching beyond reason. And it did not even work at all, after several weeks of applications . . . which my dog hated. I was so angry with these people!They also charged a lot for a "Comprehensive" Physical exam that was never done. Plus lab fees for heartworm and the ear infection. Altogether it came to $250 . . . And did not do a thing to solve my dog's itching ear problem..How much can they possibly RIP YOU OFF? That's how these guys operate. Never went back. Never will. I found a great doctor at Startown Vet across town, who cleaned out and then treated the ear infection with better meds and excellent results . . . for half the price.I hardly ever write negative reviews. But I just had to warn everybody: STAY AWAY FROM NEWTON-CONOVER ANIMAL HOSPITAL!!! They don't give a damn about your pet. Just Robbing you blind!

Stay away from this vet place!! WMy husband took our puppy there for her first check up and she got her rabies and such. Almost $300 later my husband comes home with pills for her. Under the impression it is to get rid of her worms. Well I began to give them to her to find out her hair starts falling out. Mind you, my husband said the lady was one of the rudest ppl he has ever met. Then I started researching the pills and here they are not for worms but for a UTI infection. It can cause hair loss if allergic. My fault as to I should have googled before giving any to her. No one said anything about her having a UTI at all. I called them today and the same woman my husband said was cruel said he refused anything. Which is not true. The lady's name there is Cortney M and I will be calling the Better business bureau. What was a $300 bill if he refused anything?! ? ? Interesting if you ask me. This woman talked to me like garbage. She said the medicine cannot cause hair loss. I told her I called and talked to a relative that works at a vet hospital up North. She went crazy talk like a lunatic. That is not okay. Definitely not a place I would take any living animal.

Highly highly recommend. We had to say goodbye to my sweet Maggie last week, which was overwhelmingly difficult. From the moment I got the news, the whole team was very supportive and sympathetic to the situation. It was very obvious that the staff is passionate about what they do. Today we received a card from the whole staff, which was such a thoughtful thing to do. Thank you, everyone; we appreciate you so very much!

So happy to have found a veterinarian office that always has time for my needs. I love that any time I call or email my questions are answered quickly and professionally. The staff are all super nice and the Vet is amazing and I don’t feel rushed at all during my visits. Best veterinarian experience I’ve ever had.

I have had nothing but great experiences with the doctors at this office. They really seem to genuinely care about you and your pets. When one of my furbabies had to cross the rainbow bridge they were wonderful in the way it was handled. Had previously used another vet in the area that seriously let me down when I had a very sick animal. I would highly recommend them. Wonderful staff...

Went to take my dog, Luke, to the vet for the first time after adopting him. They are a very sweet and kind vets office. Every employee here make me, my daughter, and dog feel comfortable. They have great prices! Definitely going to continue using this office!
