My favorite kind of place! A nice selection of good looking produce, numerous plants/vegetables/herbs, yard art & bird houses are outside. Inside is full of specialty items including meats, cheeses, spreads, milk, candies, salsas, jams, butters, honey, t-shirts & more. They had gorgeous flower bouquets that would be a nice treat to oneself or gift for someone! The staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place! It's a great place to stop by itself or while also shopping the other stores along the main strip!

I normally travel to Burtons every weekend to purchase their delicious homegrown tomatoes, and other fresh produce. Its a great little fresh produce store with many other items including fresh local salsas, cheeses, pickles, jams and such, along with fresh from the farm meats from South Mountain Farms. I have purchased huge clay pots to add my own plants to for curb appeal at home. You can probably find some unique gifts here also. Their lot is full of cute whimsical yard art, if that is your thing. They have recently added a local eatery next door called Vittles, and live music on the weekends.

Whimsical Neat Place in DT Lincolnton. This is one of two Burton Farms General Store. The other is in Conover NC just East of Hickory and I would estimate about 20 miles away. Have not been to that one but will make a point of going in the near future. Interesting collection of metal yard art, hanging baskets but what they had today were mostly ferns and other plants. Their Hibiscus plants got hit with cold weather last night and while they will come back, were discounted to $5,00 a plant. Good selection of produce although this time of year, I would suspect most is from out of the area. I did get some early Vidalia Onions labeled Petite Vidalia and some Green Tomatoes to make Fried Green Tomatoes. I had a Vidalia Onion Sandwich tonight and it was delicious. Nice and sweet and the harbinger of more to come when the main crop starts to come in later this month. Good Selection of other produce as well. Bought a tea towel from my wife in addition. Looked at some Sour Dough Bread and it was baked in Millersburg OH which is in Holmes County right in the heart of Amish Country, Love the yard art but unfortunately live in a gated community with an HOA made of Karen's so no yard art although the Charging Bulls might work because the are also BBQ Grills Grills are permitted. Definitely going to have to pick up some yard art for my Sons in GA.

Amazing place but the hours online are wrong. Went to buy something an hour before 8 and they were closed. I was devastated so I hope they see this and update their hours. It really is a shame they've got amazing sundrop pound cake I was really looking forward to.

Really cool hybrid store in Downtown Lincolnton. I visited today and they are just now putting out all of their Christmas decor. Super cute things for your yard, check out the metal Christmas trees, snowmen and ornaments. Really reasonably priced, too! Inside the store they have a selection of locally grown vegetbales and fruits. Some of the prettiest heirloom tomatoes I'd ever seen! Many selections of canned and jarred products such as pickled okra, jellies, jams, salsas and honey. On my visit I got boiled peanuts for snacking, tomato jam and wax candle melts. Such a great little store. Check them out and SHOP LOCAL!
