Food Lion offers fast friendly service with self checkout and regular cashiers. The store is clean and easy to navigate, and restrooms are at the back. Customers say it is a great place to get groceries. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and many people come back to shop. Managers are awesome, and management takes care of customers quickly. Front line folks are fast and friendly, though managers should open more registers to reduce lines on Friday. Employees act like family, greeting customers and showing care, making the store feel like a small town.
This Food Lion is my favorite even though there is another one that is a bit closer. The staff is always friendly, the store always clean and it is not overwhelming to walk through. We also love the to go service they offer and hardly ever have substitutions like some other stores.
