“The store did not have the brand of brandy that I was looking for but the woman at the register said they can order it for me. Then she looks up the other local ABC stores for me to let me know who does have it in stock. Very kind and efficient! I will definitely go back!”
“The staff is really nice and knowledgeable about products. Great variety of spirits. The staff will help you find a product if they don't carry/have it in stock. You will always walk away with what you want and more. Happy shopping!”
“Got super-drunk with the products acquired here, got into a fight with the coat rack. Lost the battle unfortunately. But don't judge me too harshly, the coat rack had 4 legs and feet, and like 5 or 6 arms up top. It was brutal. Lessons were learned that late night/early morning. So say what you will, but I think I faired rather well in the whole thing seeing as I was attacked by a weird multiple coat wearing centaur with arms like that ugly 4 armed dude from mortal kombat. Remember that joint? I'm talking all the way back on Sega Genesis. FINISH HIM! FATALITY! Oh man, that was the best game ever. Oh, but back to the monster attack in the entryway. I learned nothing, but the coat rack learned it was flammable. And is now a scorched spot in the yard. The real lesson here is everything in moderation people. Especially moderation. ?”
“I don't visit the alphabet store very often but the last three times I've stopped at the one on 321 in Hickory there's been a Catawba county sheriff's deputy inside standing behind the counter in full uniform, no not running the register but apparently something has happened at this establishment that warrants the presence of an armed law enforcement officer behind the counter at all times. Don't get me wrong folks, I do not have an issue with the fact that he's there in fact I wish there were enough of them so that all businesses could have one.
I guess what I'm getting at is if this particular ABC store location is that dangerous I might consider purchasing my adult beverages in a less sketchy neighborhood...but as always y'all can make your own decision on that.”
“First time there today. The women working were super friendly and helpful! They are doing a stellar job at keeping everything stocked and covid safe too!! We'll be back for sure!!”
“The lovely lady at the counter was knowledgeable and kind, asking us if we needed anything. They do have a smaller selection but it is a small town ABC store. So don't expect too much more than the basics and tried and trues. Otherwise, great little place.”
“I would have to say, so far, it's my favorite here in Hockory. It's the staff is so nice. There is always good people trying to help and be polite. Plus there are cops in the store there sometimes keeping the public aware of them which is really refreshing.”
“Some of the nicest most professionals work for this company even if it is alcohol that many get very sick from to much consumption. The reps and delivery folks are where it’s at. Known one for over 15 yrs. Nice consist kinda dude.”
“As a professional in the grocery industry, I was thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness and product presentation at your establishment. I anticipate returning to your locations whenever possible. Congratulations on a job well done.”
“Good gas station to drop in if in the viewmont area. Limited other products for sale because they don't really have a gas station store here but rather a kiosk set up. Clean gas station and don't have homeless hanging around so that is a plus.”
“Lowe's foods is the premier grocery store in the Viewmont area of Hickory. With that being said, I'm here to give a 5/5 star rating to their new Beer Den Master, Courtney. Ever since she assumed her role as the Beer Den Master the customer service has improved exponentially. Courtney and her staff are friendly, inviting, and courteous to all visitors. Thank you Courtney for taking over!!!”
“Love this place and enjoy the bar. We shop here regularly and go to the bar for there specials. The wine department is awesome when they have their 20 or 25 percent off, even on the sale wines! We order wine regularly.”
“Very friendly staff and fast unloading. I’d absolutely recommend taking a load here.Semi drivers, my recommendation is this: Come down Main and turn left onto 22nd (near Dick’s Cafe) so that the dock is on your drivers side. Stop before the railroad tracks and go to the dock to check in. Slide your tandems all the way forward. You’ll make a right into the business across from the dock and point your nose to the left so that you can angle back into the dock. Once in, slide your tandems to the rear. Once loaded or empty, slide your tandems all the way forward again before pulling out fully. Either pull out and into the business across the street to turn around or make the left out of the dock to leave. Making a right is possible but very tight with the railway and lighting poles being right there. The road is narrow with drainage ditches also. There’s fencing and poles everywhere, so take your time. The locals seem very patient with the trucks blocking the road and the area seems very busy with cars and truck coming through every couple minutes. I thought it was pretty easy but if you’re new to trucking just be cautious. And the staff seemed friendly enough so I’m sure if you ask them to be a second set of eyes they will have no problem helping.”
