“We traveled to the vineyard on a bus trip sponsored by Hampton University. Upon arrival we met Jamal, the youngest son of the owners, Clara and Preston. I could tell right away that we were in for an amazing experience. We tasted MULTIPLE delicious wines, each one was better than the last. We were served Barbecue from a food truck. Everything that we ate and drank was top notch. The best part of the day came when Preston, a former pastor and current owner of the vineyard with his wife Clara, shared his family’s story. We were enthralled from beginning to end as he spoke of his hard work, dedication and love for family. It was evident that he adored his family and the legacy that they are building together. Intertwined throughout his message was his love for God and the importance of persevering through tough times to reach the goals that God has set out for you. We were then treated to a tour of the grounds by Preston and Jamal. They answered all questions and made all of us feel as if we were talking to our uncle and cousin. Finally we purchased wine and had a great conversation with Clara. We complimented her on the exceptional hospitality. Their wine tasting and event center bathrooms were clean, and inviting. Thank you for an outstanding day with great wine, food, and fellowship. We will definitely be back! The experience was 10/10!???”
