I live in Virginia and use Walgreens there. I drive up to that drive thru and immediately get my prescription and drive away. At the North Wilkesboro Walgreens you must set aside 45 minutes for the drive through at best. It is shocking how long it takes. I'm currently in the drive through and every car is sitting for no less than eight minutes. What is taking so long? Their system can not be correct. If you go between five pm and seven, both lines back up to the street. It is ridiculous. Corporate needs to check into this store. If you go inside, it seems they look in ten different places for prescriptions that the computer says is available. Avoid this store if at all possible. You know it's bad when Walmart takes a fraction of the time. We've started migrating my mother's prescriptions to Walmart's drive up service even though it's twice the distance. Still saves a lot of time. Get it together Walgreens on D street.

They don't help when your doctor sends your prescription over they won't fill it even thought it's faxed through from the doctor.

Worst Walgreens I have ever dealt with the pharmacist Sarah is a joke honestly and doesn't know how to speak to a customer and should just stay hidden in the back! They told me that my new insurance company would only fill my medication 7 days at a time so I would have to come back every week to get my medication per Sarah because I had to speak to the pharmacist that day to have explained to me why I couldn't have a full months worth of medication. Today 7/10/20 I go to get my weekly refill of my medication and I am told by the pharmacist Sarah that now my insurance won't fill my medication because they will only approve two refills in 56 days how does that even add up?!? So basically when they told me they tried to contact my insurance company to go ahead and get me the month supply that was more than likely a supply or they would have been able to tell me oh by the way you will have to pay out of pocket for the other 6 weeks of medication you will need after the first two weeks?!? On top of it all Sarah tells me that she will be happy to send my prescription somewhere else to have it filled if I didn't like it! Horrible place to have your medication filled I'm not the only person that has problems with this pharmacy I would rather go to a big box store like Walmart I used to think there customer service was bad until I ran into the pharmacist Sarah who doesn't care if Walgreens has your business or not!

Do NOT go here unless it’s after hrs for ANY OTHER pharmacy. Prescriptions called in at 10:30am; go by at 6pm and wait in line for 37 mins only to be told a Z-pack wasn’t filled and would be 30 mins. Came back at 9pm and told it still wasn’t filled. Absolutely ridiculous.
