“Great shop and the owner, Darrell is the sweetest guy. Always has time to talk with you and answer any questions you have. He has tons of old and vintage items stuck in every nook and cranny. I was admiring a marble he had and he took it out of the case and said here you can have it. I was thrilled! We’ve purchased many items from him in the past from books, antiques, to knickknacks. But the gift of the marble was my absolute favorite. I will cherish it always and remember it was a gift from Darrell! Call before you go to make sure he’s there. It’s a one man operation…”

“Great store with a big mix of nostalgia, antique, old salvage from historic homes, architectural salvage. I got a wooden carved lion. My wife got a few pieces of eclectic things for home decorating.”

“Great curiosity shop that has a large selection of primitive glassware, antique bottles, collectibles and much more. A must for bottle collectors. Nice selection of black glass and blob top sodas. More bottles than any shop I've been to in eastern NC.”

“MUST VISIT!! The owner was so nice and helpful, not to mention a very skilled artist!! Him, his wife, and their daughter all work together to make these beautiful wooden art pieces!! They can also take orders for them and ship it to your house, my boyfriend's brother ordered a map of Southport but since we're leaving on Saturday, he's getting it shipped to him!”

“I'm mainly writing a review because I don't know why this shop has such a low rating, as I enjoy popping in every time I go to Southport. While it's not for the bargain hunter, the shop is filled with quality antiques, from original art and sterling silver to more functional and decorative items throughout. The owner has always been there when I've stopped by, and while she does have a watchful eye, if you're simply there to shop, you have no reason to worry. She has such a great eye for lovely, true antiques!”
