We’re big fans of this place and visit regularly when we’re in town. In all my. years on this planet, I have never had better cookies and cream ice cream. And I’ve had a lot of cookies and cream ice cream in my life. There were tons of Oreos, and they were actually still crispy. Not soggy as is typical. When they say fresh-made, they mean it!! Chef’s kiss for John & Lil’s. Seriously.

First time going and we will definitely be back! It was delicious, the staff was friendly, and the portions were huge while being very affordable! Also, they're super generous with their mix ins - the cookie chunks were huge and frequent! So good!

This is an every weekend stop during the summer and at least twice a month during the winter, absolutely the best ice cream in southport/oak island hands down and I recommend to all who live and visit here

Ice cream was fantastic and the staff were incredibly friendly. Menu has lots of variety! The sampler comes in an egg carton tray do you can try several flavors without mixing them in a cup. Overall, this place is a 10/10.

Lil & John's Sweetreat Ice Cream Parlor is great! Their ice cream is absolutely delicious, and they have a great variety of flavors with toppings. The staff are nice and friendly. Without doubt I recommend them! Have a great day!
