Oak Island Hardware is the best hardware store in the area. The staff are knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and very helpful. They provide fast and great service, whether for a small or large purchase. Employees know where everything is and give good advice, helping customers find exactly what they need and often saving them money. The store stocks lots of small, hard-to-find hardware items and has fair, often better, prices than larger chains. This treatment and consistent service gains loyal customers who highly recommend coming here.
I can't give the 5 stars. I made a special trip to the store just the get a couple small bags of screws from the bins, only to find that they did away with them. My only other option was to buy a box with way more than I needed. Bring the bins back!
