The rooms are basic but clean. TV was small but we didn't come here to watch TV. We rented ocean front and what a view! We got nice ocean breezes, were able to watch the sunset to our right and moonrise to our left. I found the largest shark tooth I have ever found. The pool was clean and there are several outdoor stations to rinse off when coming back from the beachWe had a great timeNearby activities: The pier is next door. There is a restaurant there and they have live music at times

We were pleasantly surprised with this roadside motel. Rooms are super clean and quiet. The beach is a quick and easy jaunt across the street. I would recommend staying in this spot when visiting Qualicum Beach.

This place was the best place I've ever stayed. Hope the new owners don't change a thing.The location is wonderful. It's right next to the pier, you can sit under it and stay out of the sun. The beach is right outside.The pool is very clean and well maintained. It closes at 8. A little too early.The cleaning staff work super hard. Go way beyond what I expected.

*Update* I’m unsure what happened, but I cannot recommend this hotel anymore. When we first came three years ago, it felt like home. Now you get one washcloth, one towel, and one hand towel per day, an Alka-Seltzer-sized bar of soap, and no shampoo, conditioner anything like that. The beds are old and outdated, and you can feel the springs sticking out, and the egg mattress topper is flat. Speaking of flat, bring your pillows. You are only allowed two per bed. The unpleasant office staff informed me they do not have anymore. About an hour drive north you can stay in an oceanfront hotel with ocean views with in room hot tubs for about $150 less.This is a great little hotel. The rooms are very clean, the beds are soft, and the staff is friendly. They remember us every time you come to town. I recommend it.

On the beach. Rooms have been somewhat updated, but would be really small for a family. One washcloth, one hand towel, one body towel per person. There is a checklist of items in the room you're given, so check it, or risk paying for something missing. I called before going and told them I was sick and had a Covid test waiting on the result. Was told I would lose my deposit if I didn't come, so I went. Then when I was checking out, staff saw me giving my room keys to an employee and called me after I left to see what the results of my Covid test had been because they noticed that I talked to the employee 10 seconds or less without a mask on. I was negative.
