Completely awful experience. I showed up early for my appointment for something i know takes 10 minutes and a prescription for antibiotics. Not only was there nobody to be found when i checked in but there continued to be nobody until fifteen minutes late, when i finally knocked on some random doors and found a very rude NP that told me “the times are not exact and she’ll get to me when she gets to me” Well, i could have gone somewhere else at 4:30 on a Friday but now i cant go anywhere until Monday unless i battle the urgent care places for something small that will take hours. At 30 minutes late…. I left untreated. Thanks for nothing.Definitely do heed the other reviews that warn about this places absurdly poor punctuality.

My appointment was made for 10am at CVS Minute Clinic, Oak Ridge. I walked out at 11:15 unseen. I am the daughter of a nurse practitioner so I fully understand that there is often wait time at no fault of the practitioner. Over an hour without any explanation is just unacceptable. Not only did they not see me as a patient, no one even acknowledged that I was there. No explanation for the delay, no apology for the wait- nothing. In fact the only words spoken to me were from an employee working elsewhere in the store who noticed my presence and questioned it, and at that point, over an hour later, I was done. Hopefully they got back on schedule for the kind woman who checked in after me.Such a waste of precious time.

They are useless! I Stopped by at 6:00 pm with my child for a quick strep check and the place was empty. I was told to sign in and when I did I was informed that they didn’t have any available appointments. I asked if I could wait and was told that they where waiting for an upcoming appointment, a physical, at 6:15pm. So again, I inquired about a quick test and again was told they where busy. And the best is, I personally saw the provider sitting in her office googling on her phone! Simply Ridiculous!!

My daughter went in for a double ear infection. One ear was very swollen. The Dr who saw her told her no way she was in level 10 pain, but she was. She chastised her for not going to a ear nose and throat Dr. Then poked and prodded and told her she had to much wax in her ear to diagnose her properly, but her other ear was red and she gave her 3 days if antibiotics. Oh and when she said she was allergic to amoxicillin, she didn't really believe her. The swelling didn't go down and she was in even more pain. We went across the street to a clinic and found it WAS a swollen ear and not Wax build up. It was a totally different type of ear infection and she gave us the correct medicine and she is healing well. My daughter is 19 and this was her first experience going alone to a Dr and the Dr made her feel horrible. I would never recommend this minute clinic.

All over the place “walk-ins welcome”…I walked in as a couple was leaving, NOBODY waiting. Tried to sign in and told me there were no appointments available. Talked to the lady who didn’t have anyone to tend to and she told me she couldn’t see me. Walk-ins are NOT welcome here, evidently. Oak Ridge, NC

Came in 30 minutes before closing time. After I signed in, I wasn't seen for another 15 minutes. Now that it's 15 minutes before closing time, the nurse finally comes out and tells me that she can't see me cuz it's so close to closing time and we wouldn't be able to finish before they closed. Now, I've been to Minuteclinics before for the service I was asking for, and it takes 10 minutes AT MOST to complete. Yet the nurse was making a bunch of excuses as to why she "couldn't" and told me I had to reschedule. Clearly she was more concerned about getting off work early/on the dot, rather than actually doing her job during their open hours.

This place is probably the worst place to go in Oak Ridge and surrounding areas. I figured I'd go check it out since I already knew I had an ear infection so i figured it wouldnt take that long. Signed in on the computer in the back, the wait was around 10 minutes and there was someone in the room. Everything is ok up to this point. I end up waiting over 45 minutes for no one to come out of the room. Someone comes up and also signs up on the computer. Still no big deal at this point other than my name has had "0 minute wait" next to it for about 30 minutes. The doctor/nurse/dummy comes out, asks which one of us is getting the "DOT" and then 5 minutes later asks the man that signed up after me to come in! So NOW I wait ANOTHER 40 minutes. I decide to walk around the store for a few since i had been sitting so long just to find out my name has been taken off the list! Maybe i wasnt able to hear them call my name because i had an ear infection, but either way it was ridiculous.7/29/1910:07 am

I am sorry some people had bad experiences here, but I have been here twice, and have nothing but good to say about it. I know one of the posts is blaming them, when it's obviously a computer problem. I hate computers. But, that's not important now. lol. Bridget is very pleasant and knowledgeable, as well as helpful. Prescribed meds for my granddaughter's ear infection, which cleared it up. And, today my husband and I both got shots we needed.
