Ocean Ridge Plantation Golf, home to Tiger’s Eye Golf Links, is described as one of the very best courses on the Grand Strand with a fabulous layout and very beautiful views. The course is a stunning, true shotmaker’s paradise, meticulously carved from a virgin pine and hardwood forest with dramatic elevation changes. It features natural waste areas, native grasses, preserved wetlands, and a coquina-bouldered waterfall. Recent reviews note the course conditions are a little off or not in great shape, with some rough bunkers, fairways that were rough or just ok, and tee boxes not very well maintained. Some found the greens especially nice, rolling true with decent speed, while others found them mutilated or lacking the expected speed. The staff, however, receives consistent praise as awesome, over the top friendly, and excellent all around, from the cart attendants and pro shop to the rangers and starter. Many state they will absolutely play again, finding it a fun course and a fairly pleasant experience, especially at a fair rate.

Golf course wasn't in great shape but the staff was awesome. Very friendly cart attendants, cart ladies, pro shop staff and rangers. The fairways were rough, not mowed and filled with weeds. Greens were smooth but lacking the speed that a $95 course should deliver. 5 stars for the staff and 3 for the course.
