We bought a Honda Pilot new from them in 2019. There was a problem with it -- it had gotten into deep water. We asked them to do a full inspection, but they never checked the fluids, apparently, as the differential fluid was contaminated. We had it in twice from issues related to this incident, and their "multipoint inspection" didn't look at the fluids either time. The contamination ended up ruining the differential, and Honda America voided our warranty for negligence. We tried to settle this amicably, but they refused to talk to us or return our phone calls. We're currently suing them to get the thousands of dollars in repair costs back. Just because you pay them "dealership rates" doesn't mean their service department knows what they're doing.

It was an awesome experience I'm used to dealing with the dealership in Durham North Carolina and that's pretty much a nightmare go read their reviews. Took my car in for its first free oil change a 2021 Civic Sport. I also had to replace a rim that I damaged. I wanted to fix it before the tire possibly started losing air. The prices are very reasonable and they're very honest and professional people. It was worth driving almost 30 minutes longer in the rain to get five star service. I got the car from them too my second one and I'll definitely be getting a third. I'm just excited that I actually have somewhere now to service my vehicle. I had a ton of stuff in the car but no worries they didn't bother anything. I can't wait to get back!! Thank you!!

Could not be more disappointed with my recent visit for transmission service. $160 to have the fluid changed only to find the dipstick had been left in the ledge near the windshield wipers. After cleaning it & reinserting it, fluid was not present even on the very tip end of the dipstick. Moved the vehicle to level ground, let the engine warm, checked again & a tiny drop was present when first pulled out; after cleaning, reinserting & checking again, nothing was on the stick - ran it between my finger & thumb but it was dry.

Great service! I was expecting a high out of pocket price, but so thankful it wasn't. The issue was resolved in a timely manner and the staff were very pleasant.

My experience with the folks at Boyd Honda was the best car buying experience I’ve had. Not only were the staff friendly and inviting but the attention to detail and courtesy knocked it out of the park. Transparent and I did get what I know to be a very fair price on the vehicle I bought. So once again, I’d like to both thank and recommend the sales staff to anyone needing attentive personnel that will get you in a new Honda at a fair price!!

Location employs known racist Mark Long in the Sales Dept. He believes black people should go back to Africa. I would recommend not spending money with any Boyd or Crossroads dealerships.

A Tale of Two Service Departments Returning home to Oxford, NC this morning, as I exited I-85 I got a warning display that the left rear tire was at 25 PSI. I pulled into the closest gas/convenience store and rolled up the "put some quarters in and get some air" machine. It was one heck of a machine, in that it apparently took 12 pounds of air OUT of my tire. I think I should have charged them the quarters. So now I have a warning that I have 13 PSI in the left rear tire. The dealership I purchased my car is a few miles north, but the Oxford Chevrolet dealership is less than a half mile away, so I pull up to their service department. I tell the service writer I have the low tire pressure warning and need to get some air in that tire, and he responds that all of his technicians are at lunch and it will be 1PM before anyone can help me (it was around 12:20 at this point). I respond that I just want to shoot some air in the tire, if he will point me to the nearest air line, I can take care of that myself, then we can see if the tire is holding air or not. No can do he says, all the air chucks are locked up in the tech's toolboxes... and from the look I give him, he decides he will go check on that somewhat difficult-to-believe statement. So he goes through the service department door and is back out in a few seconds and says Yep, all the air chucks are locked up. I thank him for his time and indicate that being unable to provide AIR for a tire is not exactly a ringing endorsement for a dealer authorized service department and I roll north on I-85 with a mighty 13 pounds of air to Charles Boyd Chevrolet in Henderson. There are two service writers working and one comes out into the drive-thru bay to ask what is wrong (I bought the car there at the end of May 30, they recognized me, they recognized the car). I say "air" and am immediately asked "which tire" and before you can shake a stick they have an air hose into that tire... And then the writer says "I can hear it hissing..." so there is a new shoe inbound, but the point of this short story is, if you need something complicated, such as AIR for a tire, do not go to the Chevrolet dealer in Oxford, as that is a total waste of your time. To ANYONE at Boyd who reads this: WHY do you even have a service department? You cannot provide air to a Chevrolet owner because "everyone is at lunch"? I feel embarrassed for every employee of your business. What a colossal, total, complete failure. This has been posted to the Camaro6 forum, and I also told Russell Boyd about this in person.

Very bad service department. After receiving a letter saying the hood paint on my car has a recall, I contacted them. They put me on hold for 20 mins before I hung up. That happened about 3 or 4 times. I went down there, they took pictures and said they would get back to me. After 3 months of not hearing nothing I called. I was put on hold once again for 20 or 30 mins before I hung up. I will never buy a car from there again. After they make the sell they don't care about you what so ever.. I recently went to Leith Honda of Raleigh to trade my old honda and bought a new Honda. That was a year ago. Much much better place the BOYD HONDA OF OXFORD! And a way better service department!!! Just bout my wife a new Honda from Leith last week. Much better place!
