“I took my 1983 Jeep J10 in for three repairs.
1. Alternator bracket mount. Belt squealing.
2. Gas tank leaking. Plastic tank. I had asked to repair at a previous visit. Filled up my tank level gauge, it leaked 1/8 th of a tank. Had a stain in my driveway the size of a beach ball .. Gravel drive.
3. Radiator hose leak.
None of these were repaired.
The charge was $127.00
After 10 years happily dealing with the previous owner, I no longer use Buxton's. Would not recommend to anyone.”

I got my catalytic convertor replaced here for significantly less than what I was charged at other places.The mechanic also educated me to get gas from Shell or BP, and to get premium gas 1 out of 4 fill ups to be kind to my engine.Definitely recommend.”

“I drop off my silverado on Monday had it ready by that Friday. I had to have a repair done due to the fact that another body shop did a very bad job and I had to get it repaired otherwise it would have only gotten worse and would have rusted. Kenny's body shop did an excellent job from what I can tell. They even took care of putting a seal on my top cover that goes on my truck bed and put my 4x4 stickers on each side and even washed and cleaned the outside and inside of my truck also looks as tho they fix some other spots on my vehicle and for that very greatful. My truck is a 2014 and only have about 48000 miles and it was worth it to get it fix and hopefully this will take care of this problem. It looks great and so far I'm pleased with their work and the staff is very friendly and I thought they had great customer service which is very rare these days.

“My car was hit by a deer on Dec 7th. I had it towed from Martinsville where the event took place to Adkins Brothers Inc. in Danville. Shawn, the owner, got back to me quickly with an estimate, and I gave him the go-ahead. Surprisingly, the work was completed, and the car was picked op December 20th. Less than 2 week turn around, and the car is flawless. It looks brand new, even though it's a 2008 vehicle. I can not thank Adkins Inc. for their impeccable attention to detail and prompt service. I highly recommend Adkins Brothers Inc. for any collision issues, and they're really nice folks as well!!”

“George is nothing short of a legend when it comes to transmissions. Guy makes art out of a chaotic component. Factory transmission went out in my first Tahoe, Took it to him to be rebuilt told me that he wanted to buy this transmission off my truck if I ever sold it factory transmission didn’t make it 100,000 miles his rebuild lasted nearly 400,000 Damn truck was strong as an ox after that!!”

“I used to take my cars and trucks to other places. To get fixed, however, they always overcharged me. Then I came to this marathon. My 4 wheel drive wasn't working. They got it done within a couple of days and I only take my vehicle back to this place before they do any work. They do tell you Things that are wrong and if it needs to be done, they do call you to let you know it needs to be done. Now it's up to you whether you get it done or not. But these people are extremely nice and professional”

“I was not going to post anything originally. Then I read the review before mine and decided to write a review. Obviously that person doesn't understand the term Diagnostic Fee, neither here nor there I have used Precision Auto numerous times from basic oil changes to more high end work on a Lexus GS 350, Nissan Altima, and Honda Accord. I have always been shown great respect and always recieved fair rates. Mike the Gentleman that I have dealt with is very tedious and takes his work serious I always leave feeling comfortable and confident with the price I paid and the work I had done on my vehicles. Please disregard the previous review considering the positives that almost always come along from a small business versus the Corporate market in this field of work.”
