Why have self checkout when it's never working or not open

This store repeatedly leaves gates to dumpsters open and throws out food ect and calls animal control on dogs that live nearby and are going to come if dumpsters remain open.

Love shopping at Dollar General. The store meets all your needs. The problem with this store is it is always crowded.
