“Very clean and neat store for the most part. There are some products that need to be pushed forward and organized so you know how much a product is. This is coming from the fact that I have worked in retail a lot. Friendly staff, and prices are as expected! Excellent little general store to buy cheap stuff at!”

“Although I'm very grateful to have another store(s) in East Bend and having a combination of Family Dollar and Dollar Tree, it's difficult to figure out what is from FD from DT. Most of the time the employees are really nice and helpful but when I went this last time a day or two before Christmas my cashier looked like she was mad at the world and didn't even answer me when I asked her a question. The attitude was uncalled for, and I haven't been back since. I'm sure that I'll go back at some point, but hopefully, management has had a chance to correct her attitude. I honestly just hope she isn't working when I do go back. ????UPDATE: I've had a much better experience since the previous visit, and now I actually frequent it more. I've also noticed that the cashier that I had the bad experience with is never there. Hopefully, she has moved on.”
“Went for shower curtain hooks. Picked up a couple other items. Every single item priced wrong! I brought it to the associate's attention and he corrected the pricing without checking if I may have made a mistake. Unlike another dollar store I won't mention. I appreciate his ability to correct in the moment because the other community store don't even train their associates to take care of these issues in the moment. I get that customers can sometimes look at tags wrong, but this was not the case. Clearly my neighborhood dollar stores are under staffed and there is always a pricing concern. But I can not blame the associate, they are limited to what they are trained to do. Corporate does not care that their pricing is in transition and need to have processes in place until they can sustain pricing accuracy inside their stores. I appreciate that associate for clearing up this pricing issue.”
“I really like the new layout of the store. Everything is so accessible. The only complaint,which is NOT Family Dollar fault, Impatient ppl who cut thru their parking lot to avoid waiting for the light. I dont know what can be done,but someone is going get hurt.”
“This Dollar General is located on Doral road in Tobaccoville. As this type of dollar stores go this one is neat and tidy. The empliyees I have dealt with have been nice and helpful.i would cone back and shop at this store again in the future.”
“Visited the Hanes Mall Blvd and the Peters Creek Pkwy Dollar Trees. With Christmas right around the corner both stores were in rough shape, but between both stores we were able to find exactly what we needed for a Facebook inspired project.”

“Clean store. Clerks are nice. They have added more items and this store is always neat and tidy. They only have 1 shopping cart in the store & it was in use. When I asked about it, the clerk said all they had and the carts had been stolen. If you are going to buy a lot of stuff, I suggest you bring your own shopping cart or you will only have access to the hand baskets.”
“Typical Dollar General. Very clean. Very friendly staff. Easily accessible with plenty of parking. Everything you need from toiletries, shirts, crossword puzzles, balloons or just a drink and a candy bar. Public bathroom, just ask for the key. Tight isles from all the stock. Staff may be busy and not at the check out, just grunt out or cough loudly and someone will come help.”
“I don’t like the smell of the store. The store smells like a grandpa’s house, however everything is cheap. I recommend the birthday cards since they are priced cheaper than anywhere else I’ve been for birthday cards.”

“Employees were friendly even though I came in right at closing time (I thought they were open an hour later…oops) actually 3 minutes after closing time. They let me run in and grab what I needed and they didn’t have to do that. The store was a bit of a mess but I wasn’t in there long enough to care.”

“Nice Family Dollar location off of North Point Boulevard. The staff are friendly, the prices are great, they have everything from groceries to home goods and gifts. Great place to pop in for toys and over the counter ? medicine as well. They also have a ♿ handicap accessible restroom, parking, and aisles.”
“I’m an employee here; with that said, there’s not going to be any bias within this review.First and foremost, inside, always semi clean or clean. I can navigate without feeling imma trip on anything.Service: I will say I get great service especially since I do work there so I’m cool with most of my co-workers. I respect the no book bag or bag rule which is put in place for everyone no matter what it may seem.Inventory: it’s whatever they have in season. They either have what you’re looking for or don’t, but usually they do and it’s not hard to navigate either.Now a employee exclusives: usually it’s not hard to get task done but it is annoying to constantly ask for an assistant manager to come over if I need access to something anything other than a refund request. Though I understand why it’s in place but it’s incredibly inconvenient for me and other customers.Some don’t respect or care for the no bag rule and I can sympathize with them a bit and it’s incredibly annoying to deal with people that can’t respect a rule that applies with everyone! More or less a customer issue rather than a job issue.Other than those, I like working here! “Michael's assistance today was greatly appreciated. The Staff is responsible for the Register, and Stocking at the same time! Micheal was stocking, however, he didn't hesitate to come to the Register. Micheal is a Phenomenal Individual. I greatly appreciate his professionalism and expertise!??? However, I understand why the turnover is exceedingly high. Management and The Franchise should be ashamed and embarrassed; for treating employees like they are working, "IN A POOR POVERTY LABOR CAMP, SHAME ON YOU!! ??”
“Beyond 5/5 experience for me! I stopped by for an upright dustpan, which they didn’t have any for sale inside the store, but one of the workers (she seemed like she might be a manager) let me go ahead and use one of those dustpans for free, which I even insisted on paying for it, she just told me that I could go ahead and have it free of charge, and that’s given it was literally the only thing that I stopped by for!”

“This Dollar General used to be like so many of them, disorganized, poorly stocked, dirty, staff that didn't care. It's almost expected in these stores. In April this year Sherry came to our local store and wow, what a turn around. Everything changed. Everybody here actually takes pride in their job. This store is clean, well stocked, and the staff seems happy to be there. When have you ever had a staff member come up and volunteer to help you find what you want? Great job to whoever hired Sherry! Best Dollar General I've ever been in!”
