We go to the old Richmond grill ,my friends and I enjoy a meal the food is great ,sausage and gravy the waitress is fantastic and maybe a little crazy,what's her name? ,I think it's cassey.Kid-friendliness: Good people good food great atmosphere

I come to this restaurant every morning and the food is always the best and you can tell it’s made with love. All of the employees are so nice and your cup is never empty. They always keep the counters, floor, and tables clean. I love this place!!Kid-friendliness: There are always kids in here with their parents and everyone is always so nice to the children.

We decided to stop in at Old Richmond Grill while running errands nearby. We had read reviews and knew it was a smaller place with only five booths and ten seats at the counter. There does not appear to be any real defined parking but there sure were a lot of cars parked around the small building. We picked a spot near the back. When you walk inside, the booths are along the front wall to the right and the counter seats are to the left with the kitchen area behind that. Lucky for us when we arrived a booth had just became available. There were several people picking up to go orders during our visit. We were quickly provided menus and our drink orders were taken. The menu consists of both breakfast and lunch items. My wife chose the supreme omelet, potatoes and a biscuit while I chose the double bacon cheeseburger with tots. We also couldn't resist ordering hot chips with ranch. Old Richmond Grill is the epitome of a down home greasy spoon diner. You could tell this is a gathering place for regulars by the interactions between the staff and the other customers. The walls had writing all over them in random colors from what we believe are people that have visited. Nothing fancy here, in fact we read the bathroom is located on the exterior of the building but the sink is inside. We can attest to seeing a sink on the wall in the dining area so we assume it's accurate. Our food arrived quickly and looked good. The hot chips hit the spot but my wife felt her omelet, potatoes and biscuit lacked flavor. I really enjoyed my burger and tots.

Very small diner feel. There's 5 booths total inside with some bar seating available . (Very similar to Waffle House). The biggest downside to their small size is that the restroom is outside and it has no sink to wash your hands. The sink to wash your hands is in the dining room. Our server was really sweet and made some great recommendations. I ended up trying the fried catfish platter based on her recommendation and it was pretty amazing. It was fried to perfection and was dried with their homemade tarter sauce. The mac and cheese tasted like box Mac and cheese but it was still good. My husband had the ribeye sandwich and he said it was loaded with flavor. We ordered a side of chicken pot pie and the portion size was pretty big. I can only imagine with the entree size is like!

I go there for the $4.99 breakfast special. Nice hometown regularly working class feel to this place. Food is great and staff are friendly and polite.

The food was good but the burger patty's were very thin. Tater tots were a little over done for me. Tea was ok. The onion rings were very good. Will give it another try sometime. My boyfriend got the cheeseburger club and said it was very good.

Came here to try the Cheeseburger Club, one of my favorite sandwiches, and while the club was OK, the overall experience was not pleasant. This is a very small diner with about 4 booths and stools at the counter. The placed filled quickly, several booths with small, noisy kids - it got loud and hectic in a hurry. People waiting for a space stood all over including right beside my booth. I got a take out box, packed-up my mostly uneaten sandwich, and headed for the hills, better to fight another day.
