“The best way I have ever found to decide on doing repeat business with anyone is to test reactions to issues or problems. Anybody can fake their way through easy, uneventful sales but when things don’t go according to plan what’s the reaction? Had planned to do business in the area and while there stopped in at The Bee’s Knees. The shop is well organized and holds some amazing items. The Mrs. fell in love with a bookcase and arrangements were made for the sale. Went back with the balance due and a day later up pops a hitch in the whole thing. No ones fault, just a hitch. Well, I can honestly say I have never had a better experience. These folks bent over backwards and then went the extra mile on top of that to make sure we were happy. We will return.”
“The amount of items they have here (from clothes to home goods) is great - spread across 4 buildings with the two in the back significantly discounted. They have different deals each week. The two women that work in the front home goods shop on Saturday mornings are great. The coalition takes donations in the middle of the 4 buildings and there is a fridge in the front where you can drop off food items.”
“We took a weekend trip to Pinehurst and Southern Pines. We had walked around after dinner the night before and I had noticed the shop. I love vintage so I told my husband we need to come back in the morning the very next day so I can check it out. I was pleased that they were open at 9 AM.
The volunteers at the thrift shop are so sweet!
I talked to them a bit about my cancer research. They were so supportive. That’s the thing about this dreadful disease, so many people are affected. Everyone knows someone who has lost a loved one or friend to cancer. That’s why I study to make a difference in patient outcomes and eventually hoping to make public health policy changes.
I took some pics of the thrift merchandise. They have some nice reasonably priced items at this store. I got pretty lucky and found an interesting old Selections from Robert Browning book for only a dollar. It isn’t in the best condition but I really like it.
This thrift shop is worth checking out!”

“Well organized, clean store. Very friendly, helpful staff. Good variety of ever- changing items. Fair prices. Proceeds support a wonderful organization. I purchased most of the items to decorate and furnish a new office there.”
“A fantastic experience at this amazing hidden gem. The staff went above and beyond to help with my questions and I love that the store is color organized.I love that they offer $1 days. “Above all the owner is super friendly and helpful. But the items in this place range from glass to tools and many other fantastic items. And he is really fair with his prices. I will come back everytime we are in town. Bring a flashlight because there are great items hidden in corners and crevices where you least expect it.”
