I've been 3 times this week and unable to find a rack to workout in the downstairs weight area. After checking the upstairs for a weight rack I found that they were all full as well. After waiting 10 minutes I had to leave and find a different place to workout each time. I'm locked into my brand new contract so I can't leave. Pro tip: Expect to wait or leave disappointed between 4pm-6pm, especially if you want to do bench press.

This place need to go back closing late like it did before Covid. Closing at 8 is too early. Me and my friends haven’t been back since.

There is no maintenance or upkeep apparent at this gym. Showers broken, moldy steam room, pool deck should have been replaced years ago. Could be a great place if money was put into maintaining it. Reflects bad management or lack of support from ownership.

LOVE the pool! I hate to sweat so conventional exercise is not for me. But the pool is perfect. Always a refreshing temperature. Lifeguards and so nice and very helpful with weights or any questions. Showers are a bit small but are VERY clean. Great dressing areas. Just love it.

I am at the Rehab and physical therapy department for balance issues. After a fall, resulting in injury, hospital stay and in house rehab, my continuing balance issues and primary physician's direction led me to treatment. I'm very grateful for the excellent training of the therapists. the quality of the fully equipped and attractive training area, and particularly the dedication and personal interest of the therapists and staff. If you are willing to learn, follow the regimen, and make the same effort as your treatment team, you'll be successful, too.

Best gym I’ve been to in years. Friendly staff, clean and well organized. Weight room, indoor running track, cardio machines, indoor swimming and excellent classes. Couldn’t ask for more!

I’ve been a member off and on since 2018. During that time the price has increased while the hours have decreased. Should be open until at least 10pm, but closes at 8 on the weekdays and 5 on the weekends

I enjoy coming here. One of the only gyms with decent childcare. They offer a variety of classes and programs. Some equipment needs updating, but overall it’s good enough to get in a good workout. Love the pool and the sauna!

I've only been attending a couple of months, but in that short time frame, the quality of the gym has rapidly declined.First of all, it's gross. Staff doesn't seem to enforce wiping down any of the equipment, so when someone actually does (me) the wipe is black from the dirt. ? There is dried sweat on the mirrors, and I'm not sure the last time the floor was wiped down. This is concerning as this is a facility used by the hospital for rehabilitation! People at risk are coming into this Petrie dish of a gym.Recently, there are trashcans collecting water from an HVAC ceiling drip in the middle of the gym turf. They've been there for a few days now. (Mind you, the area is not that large to begiwith, so half the turf spact is unusable).Multiple pieces of equipment need to be replaced and I think they're officially down to two sets of working collars for bars and the chalk bucket has been empty for about a week.Lastly, policies are not enforced. There are kids in areas of the gym they are not authorized to be in (due to their age) and teenage athletes who could use a gym etiquette course. Awesome you're in the gym keeping with your training, but don't walk in front of someone when they are about to do a lift, or grunt and beat your head after slamming your weight down and throwing your lift belt because you're upset. I joined FirstHealth to avoid that climate.

I can say as I have been going for more than a year, this gym has potential to be a good one but it wastes it with their bad hours and excessive cardio equipment. For their cardio equipment the money could be better spent especially on more weight equipment especially how little there is of strength equipment and also how there are lots of cardio machines left unused at times. The hours are also probably some of the worst in the area, while they are not horrible, the hours they give, and the equipment do not justify the price of a membership. The price of the membership is the worst for a gym the area of pinehurst and unless the pool is a dealbreaker, the gym overall just isn't worth the outrageous price at all. From the price of a membership the lack of equipment and lackluster hours, the gym just isn't worth it.

This gym is way too overpriced, multiple members have asked the staff to change their hours and get new equipment multiple times but they won't listen. for the price they are charging it is not worth your money they don't even stay open past 8 on weekdays and if you want to go on weekends they open late and close as early as 5pm which is complete backwards logic. They used to be open till 10 but since Covid they have limited hours and they do not listen to there members. Almost anyone you talk to at that gym will complain about the hours and how there just isn't enough equipment. This gym definitely could expand and make there gym better but for now it just seems like they don't care.

Great idea for a gym but hasn’t been updated in years. Terrible free weights, minimal space to stretch, limited machines. Really just a gym for the elderly or medically impaired.
