Pinehurst No. 8 is a great and wonderful resort golf course, considered a masterpiece and one of the best courses you will ever play. Designed by Fazio, it features a challenging layout with more variety, including water hazards, elevation changes, and forced carries. It is tough but not an easy course particularly, requiring precision and careful reads of its fast greens with subtle breaks. The course is forgiving off the tee, though picking the best line is important. Multiple tee boxes make it very playable for all. Conditions are immaculate and excellent, with beautiful tees, fairways, and greens. The beautiful back nine is noted, though it is not an easy walking course. Knowledgeable and well-trained caddies are very helpful. The staff is very friendly, accommodating, and provides wonderful service in all areas. Good practice facilities are available. The amazing clubhouses feature the Pl8te restaurant, worthy of a post-round meal. Must-try items include the tasty fried chicken plate, a trout preparation, fried green tomatoes to start, and pecan cheesecake for a perfect finale.
Great course! Tees, fairways and greens were in excellent shape. Challenging layout but multiple tee boxes makes it very playable for all. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. If you get a chance to play #8, do it.

This is one of my favorite courses at Pinehurst and have to love a Tom Fazio designed course.
