Dillard's lost a loyal customer today .
6 years ago I bought a $750 Hart Schaeffer Marx suit from Carolina Place Mall location. The inner lining of the jacket became undone in a small area years ago and I finally brought it in to get fixed. Dillard's always stood behind their products but not this time. The salesman Norman wanted to charge me $10 for this simple fix which I call a defect. But Norman started to sound more like a lawyer stating company policy and that he shouldn't even take this to fix it.
The most horrible customer service from Norman and policy of Dillard's.
I'll bring my future mens suit purchases elsewhere. Goodbye Dillard's!

I’m writing this review with a heavy heart after a disappointing experience my mother and I had during our visit yesterday. We were simply trying to find the fitting room, but the way the employee approached us was shockingly rude and unwelcoming. Her tone and approach were unnecessarily harsh and made me feel completely unwelcome.
I’m not sure if this behavior is directed at all customers, if she was having a bad day, or if it was something more hurtful—like the color of our skin—but it left a sour taste in my mouth. What hurt the most was seeing how it affected my mother, who has been a loyal Dillard’s customer for years. Most of her wardrobe—from clothes to shoes—comes from here. She has always loved shopping at Dillard’s, and I didn’t even have the heart to translate or explain the employee’s tone to her.
We didn’t expect to be treated like that and it broke the warm feeling we usually associate with this store. I hope Dillard’s takes customer service seriously and addresses these types of interactions so no one else has to feel this way.
I’m sure her name was Linda, after we finally left the area she was hovering over us at and came back to it later on another employee was calling for her.
This occurred after my mom wanted to try something on in front of a mirror and Linda made a smart remark saying we should know where the fitting room is at since that’s where we first encountered us at. Terrible tone and demeanor. We couldn’t leave the store fast enough.

I was scheduled for a fitting. When I got there, I was informed that the salesperson called out sick. Luckily, a wonderful saleswoman was able to have Brenda come and assist me with my fitting. Brenda is a blessing to Dillard's!!! I never had as much fun as I did with Brenda at my appointment. She is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and fun!!! Brenda is an absolute asset to Dillard's!!! I will always request her for future fittings!!!

Offended.
I’m a successful woman in my mid 20s.
Sure, I have my days when I down dress and wear baggy clothes… maybe no makeup In a rush. I came in looking for my favorite perfume which is casually priced around $150. It being my favorite, of course I’m aware of the cost.
Getting service was hard, I felt ignored. The sales lady that eventually spoke to me made me feel as if she thought I was stealing or couldn’t afford anything. This was a woman maybe pushing 40, terrible attitude. She would barely give me information on the product and when I would try be nice or polite in conversation I could clearly see the judgmental look on her face. The shrugs, cringe and just trying to get me out of the store as if I was just going to waste her time.
Is dressing down really that disgusting? Are your employees only targeting people who come in wearing formal wear??? I may of come in wearing baggy jeans and relaxed fit T shirt but ma’am I make double than what you make in a year I could of walked out with a box of those perfumes just because I wanted them.
Well, regardless… I walked out without buying anything and I won’t be back.

I always have had great service at this Dillard's. The makeup counter representatives are very friendly. And the James Avery counter has a wide variety of beautiful silver pieces, everything from charms to rings to earrings bracelets etc. They can attach your charms to your bracelet right there on the spot very convenient

AWFUL!! Bought my daughter’s $200 prom dress.. the sleeve string broke at the beginning of her prom and her dress sagged the whole night. Went to return with it with the defect and was mentioned over how the dress had been worn. Of course she wore the dress that’s how it broke off. VERY RUDE WORKERS. Was told by one manager just give them store credit.. worker could not figure that out so took it to customer service where another manger said no because the dress is worn!! How unprofessional when we were already told one thing. DO NOT BUY DILLARDS PROM DRESS! Not just how the dress did not hold all night but if you return a broken dress that’s understandable but refusing to return because the dress was worn is unacceptable!!! Especially when it cost $200 and does not hold up all night. I will let others know about how this business will treat their customers.was excited to start buying both my daughters prom dresses here.. not anymore. Very disappointing!!

Went here looking for some new suits. They had a great selection, nice facilities, and the gentleman that helped us was very helpful. The prices were very reasonable. I'll come back here next time I need another suit.

This review is long overdue!!! I was looking for a Birthday gift for my mom in the accessories dept. To no avail I wasn't satisfied with what I had picked up to buy. A makeup counter employee called someone to help me. Enzo, V who works in watches came. he listened to my dissatisfaction and recommended considering perfume, and I am so glad he did!!! He took time with me, smelling, spraying and testing out perfumes. I ended up purchasing Good Girls by Carolina Herrera and my mom loved it! Enzo, V was patient, kind and led me to the perfect gift. He would do excellent in perfume or cologne departments!!! Thank you Enzo, V and much success to you in all endeavors.
