The assistant manager (the chubby one with the nappy edges) was very rude and disrespectful. Please teach your employees good customer service. I can see why the reviews are so low.

Update: Enterprise tells you to email them, I did. Never heard back from them. I've been a long time customer of Enterprise in Pineville, NC and have spent thousands with this branch. Someone hit my car and their insurance set me up for a full size car. I arrived on Saturday as my car was due to be in the shop on Monday. They had two vehicles available, one that smelled like cigarette smoke and I'm allergic and another that was filthy both on the inside and outside. I requested that at the very least vacuum the crumbs out of the driver and passenger side in the front. At first, they were willing to and I said I'll just swap it out later in the week (which I've never had a problem doing in the past), Dwight then said he was not comfortable renting to me because I wouldn't be satisfied. Then he went into the store, left me outside, after a while standing out there I went inside and then Austin, told me they will not rent to me. So, apparently if you ask them to vacuum a dirty car they will not rent to you. Unacceptable, as I am now unable to take my vehicle to the body shop on Monday. I've always been impressed with the service Enterprise has given in the past, but I may need to find a new car rental company and move my loyalty elsewhere. I would not recommend working with Austin or Dwight, especially since Austin has had several negative reviews.

I am currently in a rental car from them now. I will start by saying the gentleman that picked me up from the body shop was very pleasant.Once I got to the Enterprise I was told that they didn't have any cars left that would fit in the budget that my insurance allowed and that the best car was the one I was picked up in. By the way I just read a review where they lowered the rate of a car for someone else who had to go outside their insurance budget. Why was I not given that option???The car smelled like cigarette smoke. I asked about the dings and stains on the seats as well and the guy told me that they were getting ready to retire that car anyway. I had to air it out and clean the cigarette smoke from the drivers side before I could pick up a guest that I was having dinner with as it was very embarrassing. I was only supposed to have the car for 5 days so I was going to grin and bear it but I'm now going on 5 weeks and the auto strike is probably going to make it longer. The extra daily cost is going to really set me back and I'm kinda salty that someone else was able to get their rate lowered.I've tried calling and can't get them on the phone to try and resolve. I guess I will keep trying and post an update when I finally get to speak with someone.

Staff there were rude other than the driver who picked me up - Heath. I made a selection for You-click We-pick $31.00/day which specifies a compact or larger. They assigned a SUBCOMPACT Mitsubishi Mirage (listed as $27/day under economy class online), which would not fit my situation with loading kids. Of course they would not be charging me $27, but instead the $31. I opted for an upgrade to a midsize toyota corolla, which should have been $32.00/day per the website, but they were going to charge me $41/day. When I pointed out that pricing was not consistent with the website (photos attached with pricing) they said they would "work with me" for $36/day as they came up with that number on the spot and that in-person rates were different. When I said I was going to book another reservation online for $32/day and said they were ripping me off in front of another customer, they forbade me from booking. I said I was going to file a complaint with corporate to which one of the employees there said, "They aren't going to do anything" - which suggests this may be company policy to do shady up-charging like this. After giving up on the phone while being on hold forever, I decided to post my experience here instead. I hope whoever reads this decides not to give this location their business because they will try to rip you off in more than one way. Rude and greedy staff. I am guessing they get commission or have a greedy manager/branch owner.

I recently rented a car from Enterprise in Charlotte NC, and I was blown away by the exceptional service I received from Heath.From the moment I walked into the rental location, Heath made me feel welcome and valued as a customer. He was friendly, professional, and took the time to understand my needs.Heath went above and beyond to ensure that I had a positive rental experience. He provided me with detailed information and went above and beyond by providing a chauffer service to the body shop where my car was being worked on.Throughout the rental process, Heath was attentive and responsive to my needs, answering all of my questions and providing me with clear instructions for returning the vehicle.Thanks to Heath's exceptional service, my rental experience with Enterprise was a true pleasure. Had to have some body shop work done to my car at Hendrick collision. My insurance helped me schedule a rental with this location. They were able to pick me up from the body shop when I dropped off my car for repairs within 10 mins. When I came in I was attended to immediately. The gentleman that attended to me was very nice. They didn't have anymore standard size cars for my rental reservation so they upgraded me at no additional costs - greatly appreciated that! Worst customer service I've ever received!The male employee hung up on me. I called back and a female answered and I asked to speak to a manager and was told the manager was not available until tomorrow. Pathetic service. I ended using another another rental service. The only Reason I'm giving one star is because it won't let me give zero

This car rental location was exceptional! The customer service was beyond professional and accommodating. We had a little situation with the car we had reserved to rent and they helped us by going above and beyond. I would like to truly thank the sales associates Dwight, Tiana, Iryna, Austin and Lloyd for their outstanding service!Definitely will go back to this location again!

Anytime I need to rent a vehicle - this is my go-to location. I've always received friendly service here. I made an appointment on-line to rent a vehicle the week of Thanksgiving. Making on-line appointment are super easy! Since I am less than 15 minutes from this location an employee was able to pick me up from my residence. Also, an employee called me the day before to confirm my reservation.

Terrible experience. Lack of ANY inventory which left us without a car, being put on hold for 20-30 minutes at a time, a non-responsive regional manager, a quicktalking- upselling salesman that left us with a vehicle we're not happy with. Would of rather done business with the devil.
