Unfortunately I won’t be going back here. For reasons unknown to me, my child took tags off clothes they were trying on for size (online order) and I didn’t realize it until later. Apparently H&M doesn’t take back clothes without tags, which I get especially when it comes to fancy dress, but this was three pairs of various size black pants. It would be odd to have worn all three pairs in less than 30 days as some were too big or too small. Also we kept the Old Navy pants that fit correctly.
I knew it was going to be a tough return but I thought maybe we could reach a compromise with store credit.
Instead, I was informed that they don’t accept any items back without tags AND receipt. I checked their written policy and it is there, but I was still focused on a compromise. That also went out the window as they don’t “do” store credit. What store does not offer store credit? If I had known all this beforehand I would never have bought from there in the first place.
So now I won’t because I can’t deal with a store that has such tight policies that mistakes can never happen. And I’m not usually someone who makes these kinds of mistakes but I am only human. So thanks, H&M for losing a customer over $30.
(Employees were professional, but obviously not allowed to have independent thought or any leniency in store policy.)

I did find the pants I was looking for and the price was great. Not the biggest selection but I like how organize the store is and how nice the person that checked me out.

Was just at H&M and asked if my daughter could try on the clothes (they only have 3 dressing rooms open), I explained that we were very short on time and the worker that was working the dressing rooms would not let her try on the clothes. He said they were short on staff and would not let her try on her 3 tops. Again only 3 rooms were open. So we will not be back!

Pretty good but they charge you for bags to "help the environment". However, if they wanted to help they would simply not offer bags instead of using it as an excuse to make a profit

The place was very messy with items in random locations and the lady at the trial room was very rude and made me feel like walking out without buying anything.

Always a good selection and pleasant staff. Sometimes things lie on the floor, but this is not the fault of the store and sloppy customers. Sometimes the locker room is closed or very few booths are open, 1-4 no more. Good prices. Lots of things are on sale.
