I visited JC Penny in Winston-Salem N.C three weeks ago and the customer service was excellent, prompt and excellent, continue the superb services , staff of JC Penny in the great city of Winston-Salem.

Went shopping for drapes. They had a good selection but didn't have what I was looking for. I will add I considered one pair of drapes. They were "On Sale". Price was 39.99. There was another price behind the supposed sale price. I pulled it out and to my surprise the original price was 29.99. I know that retail sale prices are not always on sale. So when looking for a deal check behind the actual sale price it is not always a deal. FYI I bought the same drapes from Wayfair for 29.99.

I love shopping at JCP I always find cute clothes and great sales. I personally love in person shopping because it’s nice to see and touch the items rather then just waiting and hoping for quality from online ordering

JCPenney's is a wonderful department store. They offer a wide selection of quality products, from clothing to home goods, at affordable prices. The staff is always friendly and willing to assist, creating a pleasant shopping atmosphere. I appreciate their frequent sales and discounts, which make it budget-friendly. JCPenney's is my go-to for a variety of shopping needs, and I highly recommend it to others.

Ordered something online yesterday and had to pick up in Pineville. The pick up desk had 3 people working, and my grandson made the comment that one young lady was fast and friendly. Then she waited on us. We were both very impressed with her! Her name was Makaiah (sp?). She was super friendly and even had to go get my package, and she still served more customers than the other two people while we waited. She never lost the smile on her face!

Terrible experience. All I had was one return from an online purchase. I had to wait 40 minutes. For such a big store it is inexcusable to have only one register open with one worker. Multiple employees walked by and did nothing to help the line. One employee wandered around with the same shirt for 20 minutes and was obviously more concerned with a phone call than helping customers.

I shopped here today for work clothes. First I looked in clearance which all the sizes were mixed up and not organized. Ended up finding a shirt that I liked but it wasn’t marked down so I thought they would sort it out at checkout. When I got to check out the line was long and there was only one lady working. The lady was rude and didn’t even bother to say hi just started asking us questions like if we have a rewards program. The shirt from clearance rang up full price and she didn’t even try and fix it or ask us any questions about why there wasn’t a clearance sticker on it. She didn’t ask if I wanted to keep the hangers just took the clothes off of them, didn’t reply to anything we said showing no emotion and when I said thank you at the end she just looked at me like I inconvenienced her. She acted this way to many other customers too. I know that it can be stressful when you’re the only one working but holding your composure in a stressful situation says a lot about a person. I won’t be returning and will look for work clothes somewhere else.

Friendly staff. Nice selection. Lisa was extremely helpful! Excellent customer service. We would return to this location anytime because of the good service we received as opposed to another we visited recently where we had a completely different experience.

I ordered a smaller purse to take on a trip. I did carry it 2 or 3 times. But like most women I change my purses out. Did not have a clue that even though I did not know it wouldn't be accepted as it was purchased pass 2 months ago. To begin with I couldn't find anybody working so I went to the floor below me and was told to go up to customer service. I get the customer service and no one's there after waiting 30 minutes I found another clerk finally that was running a register. She said sorry no returns no cash back your receipt is over 2 months old. I normally carry my purses over years.. And I have used penny's since 1970. That has now come to an end I will not use any of their products nor shop in your stores ever again. At age 70 I know there are other stores that stand behind their products. One of the straps came loose already and the other 1 was showing that it was happening soon. Do not buy this product. It is very poor quality.

I had the best customer service experience in this store yesterday afternoon. I was attempting to order prom shoes because they didn’t have her size in stock. Well, I swiped my debit card, entered my PIN, and it declined. Hmmmm, tried it again, declined. Checked online bank account, all is well, but card continues to decline, there’s people behind me, and my frustration is building. The lady behind the desk suggested I phone the bank to see what the heck is going on. But it was almost 6 and I couldn’t reach anyone. My daughter came back holding a purse she wanted too, so I asked the lady to please try to ring up just the purse on the other terminal on the opposite side. I was thinking perhaps that terminal was maybe dusty inside or was having a techno glitch, so she agreed and we shoved over to the opposite side. She rang up the purse, I swiped my card, and it went through with no issue! I was excited because I thought I was right, and now I could order the shoes! She got excited with me and we rang up the shoes and it was declined AGAIN!!! She and I just stared at each other in disbelief and utter confusion. I was defeated and ready to walk out angry, frustrated, confused, and without shoes. Then, the cashier lady’s eyes lit up and she said, “No, wait!! I want you to try something.” She went back around to the terminal and rang the shoes up, for what feels like the tenth time, and then says to me, “Do NOT enter your PIN # when it prompts you, hit the button to bypass PIN, and lets see what happens” so that’s exactly what I did and the purchase went right through!!! I was elated!! I told her that I have no idea how or why that even occurred to her, but I’ll be taking that little cash out hack with me on every shopping trip from now on. If I ever have trouble again, that doesn’t make sense, I will certainly be giving that a go! Thank you JCPenney lady with the red hair and glasses, we appreciate you to the moon and back!
