“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kiddie Academy! My youngest daughter has attended since she was 18 months old and she just graduated from TK! My older daughter has attended the after school program since she was in kindergarten and she will be going to third grade this coming year and still loves it! Ashley, the director is phenomenal and all of the staff and teachers have been consistently nurturing and amazing through the years. My girls have learned so much and flourished under their care. They have become a part of our family. It has truly been a blessing knowing that my girls are in a loving environment and also learning so much! I have watched them both excel in reading, writing, math, art, storytelling, science, music and they also enjoy lots of outdoor play! What warms my heart the most is when I pick them up and they want to hug all of the teachers and Ms. Ashley goodbye everyday. I feel so fortunate to have found this school for my little girls!”

“I want to thank the entire staff at Creative Play. I had a very quick turnaround to start my toddler at daycare after relocating to Charlotte. Veronica, Director, was extremely helpful and invited me in for a tour. She answered all questions I had and toured me through the daycare. Teachers were cleaning the classroom during nap which felt reassuring, especially in time of COVID. This was my daughters first time in a true daycare environment and of course she needed time to adjust. The teachers were always patient and informed me of how normal an adjustment period is. Today, about a month into daycare my daughter spoke of the fun she had with friends and her teacher Ms. Leticia/Letesha. She even asked to go back to school once we drive off. I give this facility my highest recommendation.1yr update: With deep sadness I had to unenroll my daughter 8/31 due to relocating. I wanted to inform readers of this daycare that every single employee cares about their students. My daughter has grown smarter, happier, and more emotionally competent in the year she was in attendance at Creative Play. I am so sad we had to leave but if you’re reading this please know your child(ren) will be in amazing, loving and capable hands at Creative Play.”

The teachers dedication to the children, the curriculum, and the support provided by the administrative staff has made our time at TLE great. Ms. Connie Sherlock, the pre-k teacher is hands down a true gem and I am so thankful my son has her. She demonstrates a true passion for teaching, she loves her students, and they all absolutely adore her. Leaving TLE will be bittersweet but I am grateful for our time here as this school created a foundation of learning for my child.”

The school is run safely and have had 0 issues with accidents or safety concerns. My little one is provided a variety of meals throughout the day which helps her be exposed to different options. “Cadence Academy along with Gloria, Ariel and teachers have been pivotal in providing outstanding care to our girls. They have learned so much during their time there and have had such loving teachers who truly care about their development and well being. We were always provided with regular updates and photos throughout the day and our girls were always coming home with art projects and fun stories about what they learned. they were so excited to share the happenings of their day and I was consistently impressed with what they were doing. “While in the process of relocating, my mother performed tours at several daycares throughout Charlotte. The first thing she told me after her visit to Dogwood was, "Every other place is fine but Dogwood isn't just a great daycare, it's a school." Our daughter (19 Mos.)has currently been attending Dogwood Lane for a year and her development has been leaps and bounds above what we could hope for. The level of care and attention to detail from everyone at DLCA is second to none. The owners are their daily to support the staff, the children and their families. The staff are not only focused on child development and safety but keep an open line of communication with us parents. I am truly grateful to DLCA for also going above and beyond during Covid. They have rolled out policies that are thoughtful and well communicated and not once have I felt that my daughter or my family is at risk under their care. Kudos to the entire DLCA team!”

“I am a picky helicopter parent. I’ll admit it! We tried four different highly rated daycares in the Ballantyne area, but never felt like our son was truly cared for. Not until we found Rachel and her staff at Ballancrest Academy.Family like cultureRachel takes care of the staff and creates a family like culture. The teachers are happy, passionate and committed. There is very low turnover. And because of that, staff truly got to know my son and treated him as an individual. So many emotions from teachers on graduation day since many of them, like Ms Margaret, Ms Zoi, Ms Kristy, etc had watched them grow from infants to kindergartners. (Ps. You all did a great job making graduation a special day for parents. One chilly morning, I commented on how wonderful lunch smelled. Chicken noodle soup and oranges. Chef Robin said she wanted to make sure the kids were getting extra immune fighting ingredients, just like her mother used to do for them growing up. So sweet.EducationWith a background in education, Rachel was focused on making sure our son was prepared for kindergarten. In fact, he knew how to spell his first/last name better in preK and back tracked a bit in actual kindergarten! Rachel organized several partners to come in regularly - like music man, Spanish, or go fit kids - as well as guests - like local dentists, doctors, fire department, etc. They prioritized outdoor time, often having lessons on the playground. I love the “experiments” they created to support hands on learning - like “sink or float”.Last, it’s just fun. My son loved going to school every day. Which made dropping him off that much easier.If you too are a picky helicopter parent looking for an organized and caring staff committed to the health, education and development of your child, HIGHLY recommend Ballancrest.”

“I have to give 5 stars to the entire staff right now.Octavia is just AMAZING!About 6 months ago I was helping my daughter to look for a new daycare for my grand babies. I'm so happy we were patient & it didn't work out. Not even a month later the entire old staff is gone, the whole feel has changed. The teachers are smiling & speaking to parents, welcoming the kids at the door (no crying from either child) feels so good to head to work knowing they're good.Next the stop the office, every morning there's a snack at the desk for us (which I love). I speak to Octavia she always working hard but always smiling. I can always tell she loves her job. I commend her all the time on how she's doing a EXCELLENT JOB! “MRS. STAR IS AMAZING!!! While attending a wedding reception I was overwhelmed with holding both my 3 year old AND 1 year old in my lap (of course they both had to have attention at the same time) Mrs. Star noticed me and asked "can I help you" I could have cried, right there... but I said "yes" instead. MRS. STAR WAS A GOD SEND!!!! She held, comforted and feed my 1 yar old that she had just meet as if she was her long lost Auntie. “My child started around 9 months and now almost 2. We really love it here. With this being our first child, the school was quick to realize that she wasn't responding to certain sounds like she was supposed to. We were able to get her ears checked and got tubes put in her ears. She is always happy to go to school every morning! The teachers follow a really good curriculum, even for the smaller kids.”

Most of all, the infant teachers Ms. Marybeth and Ms. Isabel are PHENOMENAL. At drop-off I know my child is not only going to be well cared for and learn through an impressively planned range of sensory activities, but that she'll be with people who love her and know her as an individual.
