I’ve been coming to the store at 704 East Trent in Pittsboro Nc for 6 years now and have had no issues, until today. Male manager had a very bad attitude towards me because his system had issues recognizing my digital coupon for coke products on sale 3/$11 after digital coupon is added. Insisted the issue was with my phone and continued to mumble and make sarcastic remarks while waiting on me. Eventually he did override the transaction but not before basically trying to argue with me even when I showed him the digital coupon was in my wallet on the app. Maybe he’s just having a bad day??? Either way I hope he has a blessed day and has a better one tomorrow.

I usually don't write reviews for Dollar Generals. THEY ARE ALL PRETTY MUCH THE SAME.THIS Dollar General in PITTSBORO, NC, it has been Remodeled. Not that it will change anything. It will look awesome for a month and then the employees will let it get back to how it was. .The Pittsboro NC Dollar General has so much expired product on the sales floor.....MAKE SURE YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE EXPIRATION DATES ON THE PRODUCT BEFORE YOU PUT IT IN YOUR SHOPPING CART! MOST OF THE PRODUCT IS SERIOUSLY OUT OF DATE OR CLOSE TO THE EXPIRATION DATE!!!

The aisles are a little small to go down and when they have stock on the floor, it makes it difficult for someone with a cane to shop. But on the other side of this - the store seems to be busy all the time so I can understand the stock being on the floor. Whereas this might be a small annoyance for me, it probably won't bother someone else. l still managed to get my shopping done and they always seem to have everything I need. The staff is courteous and polite.

Today I stood in a line that was back to the end of the store that didn’t move. Two customers behind me put up there stuff and left. After the line never moved, I did the same. When I was walking out the door, I said the line is to the back of the store and people are leaving. One cashier was open and the other stood at the other register texting on her cell phone. Terrible customer service.
