“Recently lost one of my dogs very unexpectedly. Calling the vet office to notify them never crossed by mind but around 4 days after Molly passed, I got a letter in the mail from the clinic saying how sorry they were for our loss. New Bern is a small town but the fact that they had a staff member who knew what had happened and made sure we got a card meant everything at a time I was struggling very significantly. Dr. Shelton, Kristin and Jill are always helpful and willing to deal with all of my questions.”

“I am absolutely thrilled about the excellent care that my doodle puppy received today from Dr Stelma. My pupper has been having unfortunate diarrhea for several days and I was very concerned for his health, especially since he is so young and still growing. I'm also new to the area and I was worried about who to find as a new health provider for my animals. Due to COVID restrictions, we had to wait in our car to get called, but we didn't wait more than ten minutes. We got to meet Dr Stelma right away, he came to the waiting room to greet Loki and he welcomed us into the exam room. Dr Stelma asked a thorough history and gave us a very detailed explanation of what he was thinking. He spent almost 30 minutes with us, which is new to me, I'm used to vets looking at my pets for 5 minutes and you never see them again. We were able to get some medicine for Loki and even got an appointment to get his last puppy shots. I am very impressed with this clinic and I will be bringing the rest of my pets here!”
“On vacation and needed insulin medication for my support dog. The doctor and staff are professional and knowledgeable. They care about the animals. Did not have to wait long even though she was a walk in. Would highly recommend this facility.”
