The absolute slowest service of any banking service I have ever used. Even when I was first in line, it took me close to 10 minutes to withdraw a few bucks!

Worst bank ever! If I could rate it with a 0, I would do it.What a terrible, bad service. Total lack of communication with customers, we can spend hours calling and explaining to whoever answers the phone the issues over and over and over again.Do not use this bank service, save yourself a headache each time you need to contact them.

I had a real problem with Cash App. I am a senior woman and not used to the new technology. Well, my neighbor and fellow senior cash apped me two deposits and I was stumped as to how to get the money to go to my Penfed account. I had just about given up when I called Penfed and God sent me an angel name Jordan Carter.He walked me through the whole process and got me through and connected. I was able to get the money in the account. He has the patience of Job. A Christian man with all the patience in the world. He was my angel and I want Penfed management to know what a gift they have In Jordan. He deserves an commendation to his file. Please reward him.I am in Washington DC.

I went yesterday, the young man who helped me at the window was friendly. I came back today because he had questions and the person who helped me, a kind young woman, gently answered my questions. I asked him the same thing several times and with professionalism and without problem he repeated me!??Thank you !

My husband and I have had so many issues with them. They couldn’t find the car title and said they didn’t have it. Later we find out that they had it the whole time. We get a letter saying our loan was paid off. Months later we find out we supposedly still owe them and were sent to collections. They even called asking who our car insurance was. They had no info on us. When we kept telling them about the letter we received, we kept getting “we’ll call you back” but never received a call back. Our credit score is ruined because of them.

I received correspondence from PENFED. I applied for an account on line and was told that the account could not be opened. I was told that I needed to visit one of their branches to get this done. I was not given any explanation to why I couldn't complete on line

PenFed Credit Union is the worst so call military friendly company I have ever tried working with. Their computer systems are also down and any problems that comes it's never their fault always the system. Transfer all my account to Navy Federal.

I just recently switched my bank account to PenFed Credit Union, because I had some issues with my previous bank. I have had such a great experience with PenFed and their customer service. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable bank, since they have been around for 88 years.

Do not finance your vehicle with them! I would have rather been with GM Financial due to my customer service experience and issues.

If you move money from your PenFed checking to PenFed savings, they hold it for 5 business days. That action makes the transaction a CD, not a savings account. Also, if you do mobile check deposit, they hold it 5 full business days, regardless if it clears beforehand. And they make zero dollars available to you on that deposit for 5 full business days. Bottomline, there are better credit unions and banks that don’t play these games and have higher rates.

I've been a member for at least 25 years. I came to withdraw 2k and another $500. From a different account. I was told I can only withdraw 2k per day without notice. I drove an hour away. The teller told me that I can go outside and use the ATM to withdraw the money. I told her, I am inside in front of you, why do I need to go outside? I don't use an ATM at all because I am worried about my card will get compromised. I asked for a manager and again, I was told I can't withdraw another $500. I have enough money to cover all my withdrawals and have been a dedicated member even though there's only one branch and located on the base in Pope AFB. I called membership services and file my complaint. I never heard any follow-up regarding my complaint. I send an email addressed to the CEO and again no answer. The teller told me that changes in withdrawal limit were sent to all members to be notified but I never receive one. Just a few months ago, the withdrawal is 3k and a manager can override for more using their discretion. Total disappointment and I am already looking for another credit Union or bank that has more sense with their member's needs.
