Disclaimer-all franchises are not the same. The alleged documents provided are for you to research yourself the business model of AAMCO. You would think with an alleged 40% failure rate and 7.5% Royalty Fee customer service should be a priority. The customer service and lack of due care I received was unacceptable. Jerry Irizarry who claims to be part owner was very dismissive. You are not allowed to drive your vehicle until payment is made. What happens in less than 24 hours? Holiday weekend no one to call, when I get stranded for 6 hours, 45 miles away trying to get a tow. A complete loss of power, gears, fluids , smoke and totally inoperable. Warranty by the way does not cover a tow. I have been to the shop 3x in less than 45 days. However, Jerry paid me back for the $370 tow because he felt sorry for me? Or because I filed a complaint with the Attorney General. Repairs have been done but my vehicle still is not shifting properly nor does it have the power it had before. AAMCO customer support was very rude as well. There is so much more to this story. I DO NOT TRUST THEIR WORKMANSHIP. Go with the underdog who sees you, hears you and appreciates your business and calls you by your name. Alleged documents old and new tell the overall business model that they stand on and it's been going on for years ... allegedly. Updating 6 months in and transmission fluid leaking. I had to return to the shop for repair, it was covered under warranty.

Paid 4K for a used transmission and 14 months later…surprise surprise…I have to get another transmission. I asked for an extended warranty and was told it only comes with a 12 months later warranty.
NEVER again….total ripoff!

1st experience at this Raleigh AAMCO a couple of months ago (not my 1st experience with others), and the owner, Jerry, and team provided 5 star service. My car needed fast turnaround help, and they stayed true to their quote and completion time. Most importantly, my car has been running well since. Thank you for being the transmission destination for exceptional customer service and a job very well done!

I recommend this place great customer service, friendly mechanics, they have great prices. I’ve been to many mechanic shops and I recommend this one they do such a great job most mechanic shops have you waiting a long time but here they fix your car quickly.

Called in to speak about an active warranty, Jerry first tried to tell me my vehicle wasn't serviced there, and then went on to tell me that the active warranty on my transmission was not going to be honored. I'm not sure who signs his paychecks but he is a liability. Yes of course you will hear back from me , I trusted the location because of the aamco franchise, this location is making the franchise look very sketchy.

I have had multiple positive experiences with Jerry and the AAMCO team. They are prompt, responsive, and informative. The best in the area for transmission issues and I will continue to work with them for years to come.

I had a major issue with my recently purchased car's transmission. After visiting 2 repair shops and calling 2 others (that were on the warranty provider's list). None would attempt the repairs. AAMCO (Capital Blvd) agreed to work with the warranty provider to make the necessary repairs. The manager, Jerry I., was courteous and friendly. He helped me understand the problem and the nuances of a CVT transmission. The repairs were completed in 2 days with no drama or hassles and $0 paid by me.

Jerry at the Aamco shop on 3912 Capital Blvd was a pleasure to deal with. Truck went in the shop, problem was diagnosed and fixed the same day. He was very professional and the team there was wonderful. Thanks Jerry and I will be bringing any transmission issue straight to you. Jerry and the Aamco team took incredible care of us and replaced our transmission promptly.The price estimate they gave us early in the process was the same number they charged us at checkout, even with a few unexpected problems and a very faulty transmission in a big truck.They stand behind the work with a 3-year warranty, and If I ever have transmission issues again, I guarantee you I will go back here. 5 stars, easy.

If I could give this shop, Jerry, and team 10 stars, I would. I cannot say enough good things about them. They are transparent with what is wrong with your car and never try to pull one over on you or charge you anything extra than what is appropriate. I had one shop tell me I needed a full transmission rebuild and after Jerry looked at it, he told me it only needed a clutch and it saved me 3K. Brought my car to him a second time when I was having a coolant leak. The first shop charged me $420 and didn't even fix it, when I brought it back a second time they wanted to charge me another $460. Once again, Jerry took a look at it and said it was an easy fix they should have seen the first time. Fixed it on the house. I will only bring my car to this shop with any issues in the future. It is very hard to find such a reliable and honest shop.

Jerry at AAMCO was prompt on getting my car in to be looked at and figured out the problem, same day service and was fixed by the end of the day. I would 100% recommend them and will return if any future problems arise.

Hi. I will be concise in my review. It was the worst customer service I encountered with since being in the US. On the phone I was told that "I don't care what is the issue you should drop off your car for the day". It shouldn't be the approach towards the customers it is just so unethical and unprofessional. I would never use the services of such places.
