The staff is great but I hate the counter service. I wish they had a catalogue to browse. I dont have a working knowledge of different types of liquor so I like to browse the aisles in other abc stores and compare prices. I don't even know what to ask for.

I visit this store often. The Manager was nice and gave a birthday shot in the the house. Small gesture to show gratitude to the community. The staff is usually nice, greeting the customer's would be nice. Thank you for your service.

Don't knock the hood. I drove to New Rand Road ABC store thinking I could get in and out NOT!!!. I couldn't get in the parking lot, it was that many cars where the road was 2 cars away from being on Hway 70. Since I didn't want to wait, I drove all the way to New Bern Avenue ABC store. Staff friendly and courteous, police on site, and I didn't have to find what I needed, just told the staff, they found it and brought it to the counter. In and out 5 minutes. My new go to spot for when I need rum for my rum cakes or Tito's for my slushies.
