Spot checked a few items and those appeared to be priced less than a competitor. However, the cluster f that is the parking lot is unforgivable. It’s an enough reason to not come back.

Almadina was the first Mediterranean grocery store in the Raleigh area . They have such a great variety of foods that you get a taste of whatever you would like. The people there are extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the stuff that they have in the store. Oh and they have so many different types of spices in the store fresh seasonal fruit. Definitely worth wild to go take a peek at.

Many of the items offered are of poor quality and others are expired, rotten olives with a foul smell, cloudy fruits, so they refill the products that are close to expiry and put a new expiration date..

Stopped in while traveling through town to shop and eat some food. The market has a wide variety of items you can buy from spices and canned goods, to frozen meats, cheese, and snacks. The restaurant portion has all of the menu items listed with the prices for easy ordering. We ordered the chicken biryani, butter chicken, and a few desserts from the check out counter as well as a few miscellaneous grocery items. The chicken biryani was a fan favorite with the chicken melting in our mouths and falling off the bone. The butter chicken was good but definitely don't recommend for car eating - we learned that the hard way and had quite a bit of spillage! The desserts at the front were not our cup of tea but we were glad we tried them regardless.

Store is good with fresh meat and grocery, I bout some biryani and tikka that had no taste, too oil in biryani and salt in tikka, please reduce the amount of oil in your foods, or it’s very disappointing for those who use little oil and salt

After playing cricket on weekends, we always feel like eating almadina biriyani. Chicken dum biriyani, samosa and tea are the best. Chef special salan is outstanding.

My husband's physical therapist recommended this place and we were wonderfully pleased with the food and service. This is a takeout counter inside of an ethnic grocery store. I have never been to India, but if I had, I believe that I can say this food here is very authentic. They do not skimp on the spices and flavor as some other places do. I ordered a few samosas, chicken 65 (very spicy) over a bed of basmati rice, and butter chicken. Portions were great! This was accompanied by a white yogurt sauce that mellowed out the heat and spicy notes of the food. Service was great! Each member showed eagerness to get the order right and to pack it up to go. Pricing was very reasonable too!

First let me say the meat is superb, fresh, and nicely cut. However, I have noticed on 2 separate occasions that I have been charged more than post price for meat. Today I was charged 2.99 a pound for 2 whole chickens only split in half. The posted price is 2.59 a pound. Also my chopped goat was posted at 9.99 a pound and I was charged 11.99 a pound. In addition, I asked for the goat meat from the middle if the tray. I was given the flat less meaty pieces at the top of the tray. Both tines I was served by the same young man who did not seem too friendly, maybe he is just a quiet person. The meat is top quality, just check your prices before you pay for it. What is posted may not be what you pay.

It might sound strange to have a mini restaurant inside a grocery store but thats very normal in NJ ,chicago , Pennsylvania and like all of them places known for food you cant get it wrong here .. Mujeeb Shahid and Asif have gotten the kitchen churning out consistently good quality food and the additional warmth and attention to the special requests makes this place closer to home .. the lightly spiced not overtly done but very aromatic basmati rice with the succulent mutton slightly caramelized and smoked never fails us..go before 13 pm on weedays for the chicken biriyani is sold out and on weeke ds same for mutton biriyani!

The food items in the restaurant are really good and delicious but the price is high and they raised the price in last couple of months. Sometimes they also sell left over food from previous day. The most awkward things is every time when someone buy foods from the restaurant, they will always tell you "that's all" in an ignorant way. It doesn't matter how much you purchased, they will tell you every time. They should change their attitude with the customers and should respect each of the customers beyond their purchasing of food amount.

The worst place you can enter. Beware!!! They monitor people from inside the market and from outside, especially women, and raise prices and sell expired materials, and they change the expiry date or keep them in different and new plastic boxes.
